The light has 166 LEDs—62 tungsten, 62 daylight, and 42 RGB. The tungsten and daylight LEDs have color that's variable from 3200 to 5600K to blend in seamlessly with ambient light, match other fixtures, or just spark creative expression. The light also has an RGB mode that gives the user access to literally millions of custom colors. You can make color and brightness adjustments on the fixture via the included wireless remote or wirelessly with your smartphone. In fact, a phone holder is included in the kit. The light adds the bonus of heart-shaped reflections to your subject's eyes. The Rainbow Heart-Shaped fixture ships with a tabletop tripod with legs that can fold together for use as a stand.

[Passive] This little ring light does exactly what it says on the tin. It's bright, it's powered via USB, and it has several different white light color temperatures in addition to the rainbow effects (the latter of which I have no clue when I'd use them). The clip has enough tension to clip to a recent Macbook, but I'm using an easel I had hanging around instead, since it would hide part of the screen. The clip works fine on monitors with larger bezels. I picked this light up thinking, it's hard to go wrong for $10. Now I'm back to buy two more. 5

[3200 to 5600K] Great wraps. secure strongly but are easy to take off with the tab on the end. Highly recommended. Use the included zip ties to secure it permanently to a cable. For 15'+ extension cords and cables, I'd recommend a longer wrap. 5

[3200 to 5600K] Fantastic for tidying up the Grip&Lighting box when all the strobe cords have been given the CableWrap treatment. No more rats nests. I attached mine at the male end of each cord, that allows for release of only needed length from power source whether that be battery pack, extension cord or wall outlet. Buy the right size according to your cable diameter times the number of coils and don't look back! 5

[5 VDC] It may not be obvious from the product description, but the (somewhat janky) clip can be screwed off from the bottom, and it reveals a standard 1/4 female connector on the ring light side. So it is very easy to chuck it on a standard tripod or other desk mounts. It also runs perfectly from a power bank for portability, or a monitor's built-in USB port. 5

[5 VDC] I initially learn about the Rip-Tie hook and loop straps when I was working at a film and video production company. This company had a lot of cables to deal with - power cables on portable equipment, video and audio cables in the studio and on location and others. These 1 x 6 ties are good for AC power cables up to about 8 to 10 feet long. If you're using cables longer than that go to the Rip-Tie site and check out their other tie wrap products. For lighter cables, like those used with audio or flash equipment, they offer narrower tie wraps that are much more convenient than this one inch wide model. 5
