This Quasar Science 2-Bank Shell Ossium Plate Crossfade Xfrom Quasar Science measures 2' long and is a low-profile linear light source that offers a simple, broad spectrum and tunable white light from a beautifully warm 2000K to a crisp 6000K. [120 VAC, 50 Hz] Wanted to leave a review to counter the negative one because clearly there is a misunderstanding. This is an excellent tool to check a dmx ports universe without bothering the programmer. That said, it requires the programmer to use a method at the console level to identify universes. Any programmer working in Film should know and should be using this method. It is too easy to setup, and too helpful to SLTs not too. This tester and another competitor version we're both a response to finding a smaller battery operated tester that could take advantage of this method. For that it does the job well. If anyone is unaware of this method of universe identifiers... The idea is to PARK the 512th DMX slot at the level corresponding with its universe. So the dmx testers only job is to read the level of the 512th channel. (Though is has ability to read any ch if you prefer) So.... Universe 1: 512 is @ 001 Universe 2: 512 is @ 002 The only caveat for programmers is to choose whether to input that level in 0-100 or 0-255 format and match that setting to your tester. 0-255 is best, more accurate more possible universes. 5

[Passive] These are the same size as my 2 foot Kino lamps, but are bicolor and dimmable so more convenient and lets me repurpose my 2 foot 4 bank shell. 5

[2000 to 6000K] The mounting plate is solid as can be, multiple mounting points for rotating it or attaching other accessories like external battery power. The clips are simple and easy to use. The perfect solution for pairing up multiple bulbs. It's flat and easy to pack up so I'll probably get a larger one that holds more lights some day as well. 5

[120 VAC, 50 Hz] Super bright and easy to adjust color temperature. If you don't need a cordless battery powered light than this is a much better light bar than the affordable battery powered tube lights I tried. You have to get a little creative with how to mount it (I purchased a set of Q-Blocks to help with this) but it is a really good bright light source. 5

[2000 to 6000K] If you have the QS T8 lights get these to make mounting much easier! Lights clip in super easy, I use just one for a 2 foot light and was able to drill the block in to a wall or attach it to a light stand. 5

[25 W ] These are perfect for my quasar lights i use these on my crossfades and my rainbows. you can screw these into anything and make your own mounts. i have them double stacked with a baby plate. 5
