The high-efficiency LEDs blend colors and brightness for millions of available colors and intensities. The integrated Pixel software provides control over 20 pre-built effects and macros, including rainbow, short circuit, customizable emergency lights, and much more. Each pixel can be controlled independently, or even grouped together so the light operates as a single pixel.

The Rainbow 2 is a useful linear LED for motion picture and content creation. A workhorse for everything from lighting actors to environments, it outputs up to 91.9 lux at 9.8' (5600K) and provides high-quality tunable white light and a high RGB color saturation. Multiple pixels maintain super smooth, flicker-free dimming and billions of available colors. This linear LED light offers incredible data connectivity whether wired or wireless, and can be powered anywhere via multi-voltage AC and DC power inputs. Rainbow 2 white light conforms to illumination standards used by camera sensors. From 1750 to 10,000K, Quasar Science calibrates all CCT spectrums to their TM-30 reference illuminants, producing white light with high color rendition (SSI up to 91, TM-30 up to 94, CRI up to 95) to ensure the best photographic quality. CCT control provides an equal amount of color change throughout the entire Kelvin range.

Designed specifically for Quasar Science, the Ossium Mounting System pushes the boundaries of light placement while integrating seamlessly with industry standards for safer and faster rigging, with greater precision. A slender, secure rail along the length of the rear of the LED light provides multiple mounting points to accommodate any specific rigging need.

The Rainbow 2 can be controlled locally using the integrated controls and OLED screen for precise, repeatable results. The Cat 5/6 RJ45 in/out ports allow lead/follow control for multiple fixtures in an ad-hoc wired network. [Proprietary] These are perfect for my quasar lights i use these on my crossfades and my rainbows. you can screw these into anything and make your own mounts. i have them double stacked with a baby plate. 5

[Proprietary] I've used both the RR50 and RR100. The built in FX are fantastic and once you get familiar with the menu in manual mode they are quick to set up and get going. We mounted them to the front of the Russian arm as an eye light during a car chase.(Transformers 7), we rigged them against a bridge and did subway arc fx. The fire light is probably my favourite as you can manually dial the CCT lows and Highs. so it's really quite versatile. Smooth dimming curve and it has a low end mode that us very useful when in a controlled studio environment and need to go to .1% dimming. The rigging mounts can throw you off at first, but once you get into the Ossium mounts you really can't beat it especially when rigging to fast cars etc. 5

[50 W ] The mounting plate is solid as can be, multiple mounting points for rotating it or attaching other accessories like external battery power. The clips are simple and easy to use. The perfect solution for pairing up multiple bulbs. It's flat and easy to pack up so I'll probably get a larger one that holds more lights some day as well. 5

[51 x 5.75 x 4"] Wanted to leave a review to counter the negative one because clearly there is a misunderstanding. This is an excellent tool to check a dmx ports universe without bothering the programmer. That said, it requires the programmer to use a method at the console level to identify universes. Any programmer working in Film should know and should be using this method. It is too easy to setup, and too helpful to SLTs not too. This tester and another competitor version we're both a response to finding a smaller battery operated tester that could take advantage of this method. For that it does the job well. If anyone is unaware of this method of universe identifiers... The idea is to PARK the 512th DMX slot at the level corresponding with its universe. So the dmx testers only job is to read the level of the 512th channel. (Though is has ability to read any ch if you prefer) So.... Universe 1: 512 is @ 001 Universe 2: 512 is @ 002 The only caveat for programmers is to choose whether to input that level in 0-100 or 0-255 format and match that setting to your tester. 0-255 is best, more accurate more possible universes. 5
