This Contax 645 to Fujifilm GFX Adapter by Fringerfrom Contax 645 to Fujifilm GFX Adapter by Fringerallows a Contax 645-mount lens to be used on a FUJIFILM GFX camera. The adapter fully supports electronic communication between the lens and the camera body, enabling IBIS, VR, as well as aperture and autoexposure features. It's also compatible with lens-generated metadata and will transfer it to the camera system. Vignetting and distortion, two common issues with third-party lenses, can be corrected in-body thanks to the presents built into the adapter. The high precision CNC-machined adapter features internal flocking to minimize chances of unwanted reflections in the image. The adapter also comes with a built-in tripod mount.

[0.84 lb] This adapter works well on seven Canon EF lenses I use on either the Fuji GFX 50r or 100s. Autofocus is quick and accurate. Some lenses show no vignetting such as the 40mm f2.8 and the 16-35mm f4 from 21-35mm. There is also little vignetting on the 100-400mm ii. Others show more. The ring for aperture adjustment is very handy. 5

[FUJIFILM G] I already had the Fringer adapter for Nikon to Fuji X and wanted to try this on my GFX50Sii with my existing lenses. The focus is quite slow but accurate, there are times that the focus misses and you get the red error, but it is still better than manual focusing plus you get lens data. I tested this with a few Sigma Art lenses, the Sigma 60-600mm, and some Nikon lenses. All worked similarly, some had vignetting and some did not. This is a worthwhile investment if you already have the lenses and want to use them on your GFX. I would think that on the GFX 100s that focussing will be way better. 5

[0.84 lb] I purchased this specifically to adapt my Canon EF 24mm TS-E lens to my new GFX 100S. It performs very well and I couldn't be more satisfied - unless the price were discounted. The lens and adapter can cover the full size of the sensor or I can set the camera to use a 35mm area. I've bought a number of adapters over the years from the well-known brands to less-known ones and I have never been satisfied completely with any until I used the Fringer. The fit on both sides is perfect and it even has a weather gasket. It's easy to recommend. 5

[Yes] I expected some vignetting, and I have got some on some lenses (the 100-400L I vignettes on the far end). But overall, the firmware in the adapter corrects for most of that. I haven't had any auto-focus issues with an lenses Fringer lists as compatible. 5

[0.84 lb] Got this adapter for GFX 100s, using it with a 85mm f/1.4 and it works really well. Continuous focus mode hunts a bit, not really usable, but in single it's fantastic, comparable to second generation mirrorless AF I would say (A7RII). Works quite well in low light as well. Build quality is quite decent, very happy with this purchase. 5

[1/4"-20 Female] Works better than expected. Saved myself tons of money using my Canon L glass and getting Canon color! You just have to deal with vignetting with certain lenses, but you can simply fix it in post. 5

[0.84 lb] It's small. It's easy. it works with all my EF lenses. I've read reviews of many different brands of adaptors for EF mount to GFX and landed on this one. Time will tell if it continues to be effortless but the electronics connect and the lenses work. Particularly needed it to work with my 24 T/S lens and no issues. 5
