Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can this be used to hold a 7 exterbal monitor and attached to a tripod using the super clamp?

A: NO! It can't really hold anything heavier than a GoPro Camera.

Q: 2. I'm finding that this item will not work with the Manfrotto super clamp I have or the 9.Solutions type super clamps. In the case of the Manfrotto, it does not appear to go in far enough. In the case of the 9.Solutions clamp, it will not go in at all. I'm having similar problems with the same type of arm made by Manfrotto. In all cases, a standard 6 sided 5/8" spigot will easily fit in all of the clamps. Is anyone else having this problem?

A: This is the 1st I have heard the issue. I would recommend calling into B&H for troubleshooting, connecting with a B&H live chat agent, or visiting the superstore.

Q: 3. Will the Impact 6 Extension arm work with a Manfrotto Super Clamp?

A: Absolutely. It's made to fit, quite sturdy too.

Q: 4. Can this hold a Manfrotto Lumie when attached via the easylink on the Manfrotto 190 tripods? are any additional spigots required or are any included with this product?

A: You can attach a Manfrotto Lumimuse LED panel to the 1/4 threading on the end of the 237 Flex Arm. The female hex end of the arm would attach to an Easy Link socket using the Manfrotto 3/8 + 3/8 Adapter Spigot B&H # MA125. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 5. Does this attach to the easylink connection on the manfrotto tripod?

A: Yes & No. You'll need to purchase an adapter to connect. The tripod has a 3/8 female fit and the arm has a 1/4 male at one end and a 3/8 female at the other end. I opted to use a 3/8 double male adapter to connect the arm to the tripod.

Q: 6. This just arrived, and there is a tag on it marked Pull . Now, normally, this would simply indicate that it is a tag to be removed. However, the instructions do not mention it AND the pictures in the instructions show it in place. So... safe to remove? Price of being wrong is high -- meaning I cannot use it this weekend if I make it inoperable and need to get another one.

A: Yeah, it is strange because it the plastic goes completely around... you need to cut it off.

Q: 7. How long is it?

A: Here are some specs on the following item WEIGHT 440g PAYLOAD 6kg LENGTH 11 inches MATERIALS Aluminium alloy & stainless steel

Q: 8. What is the maximum weight capacity?

A: The maximum load capacity of the Impact 6" Extension Arm with Spigot for Super Clamp is listed as 8 lb (3.6 kg).

Q: 9. can this be used on the 190 series or other manfrotto tripods with the easy link?

A: Perfectly. In the body ( not the head) there is a female hole to screw in the male end of it

Q: 10. Is there a baby pin spigot that fits well?

A: Aside from the included spigot, the Impact SRP-113 Long Double Stud 5/8", BH # IMSRP113 can also fit well. https://bhpho.to/3u0qoyz

[0.92 lb] Amazingly well crafted. Once I got my son passed the fidget spinner, best toy ever aspect! Lol.. I was able to use it as a multi mount for cameras and mics. So well built.

[1/4"-20 Male ] Very versatile and can be configured in so many different ways and positions. I use it to hold a YoloLiv streaming device while filming sports. I would normally position the Yolo on the camera hot shoe however, that position is taken with a wireless mic system. Very well constructed using quality materials.

[0.92 lb] I needed something to hold my video camera while offroading in Utah in a rented Jeep. It had to be something substantial without leaving any permanent sign of having been there. The crab clamp gripped the passenger side dashboard grab bar firmly while the magic arm held the camera above the dash without shaking while moving down the trail. The result? Some fantastic videos that I will cherish for years to come.

[Aluminum, Steel] This is a very solidly built piece of equipment, well-finished with substantial, firmly tightening connections. I plan on ordering a couple more of these for placing lights inside tight spaces. Jaws will tighten down on a rod but also on a flat surface like a shelf. Why bring another light stand or tripod that will only get in the way when one of these will do? Worth the money.

[3] I really like using this clamp arm. I use it to secure a field monitor to my camera stand for church services. We rent so I needed something sturdy but quick and easy to manipulate. I don't think I was ever in a situation where it wasn't able to do what I wanted it to. The build quality is excellent, and the single knob that locks the whole arm in place very securely is so convenient. I would fully recommend this arm.
