Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you stack Pelican cases model 1740?

A: Yes, you can stack this model. There are four rectangular feet on the bottom and these fit into four shallow mortises on the lid of a second one. However, the feet and mortises don't lock together.

Q: 2. Do You have the 1750 with the polyurethane lower foam insert?

A: Yes this foam kit is full. It's not the pull and pluck model.

Q: 3. Will you need to remove case to access SD card?

A: Unfortunately yes, the case would need to be removed in order to open the memory card door.

Q: 4. do you ship overseas

A: We ship all over the world. You may calculate your actual shipping options/order totals by adding the items you want to a shopping cart. It will then list the shipping options, descriptions, ETA's and fees to your location.

Q: 5. Is it best (why?) for birding than the Leica 40094 Ultravid 10 x 42 HD Plus ?

A: In the Ultravid HD PLUS line, for its size (smallest premium full-size bins available) and massive field of view, the 8x32 or for its brightness and again, massive field of view, the 7x42 would be the best choices. For the absolute best optics available, the Noctivid 8x42 would be the best choice. 10x is generally considered too much power for birding. If you have to have 10x42, the Noctivid would be the best choice as it has the best optics (best sharpness, contrast, resolution and color rendition) of any 10x42 on the market.

Q: 6. Would this pelican case fit 3 x Arri T1 Lights?

A: Dont know those lights. It is a big case I carried backdrop stands and 3 light stands and some small lights

Q: 7. can i get two guns in one case?

A: Depending on the dimensions of the guns, two may fit inside the Pelican 1750 Protector Wheeled Long Case. The internal dimensions of this case are 50.38 x 13.33 x 5.33".

Q: 8. Would this fit Matthews 40'' turtle and would 1770 would be an overkill?

A: You can fit several Matthews Turtle Base C-stands in this case, particularly when traveling by plane.

Q: 9. Would this fit the Q2?

A: The Leica Half Case Q3 will not fit the Leica Q2 as the cameras have different dimensions. If you want a leather case for the Leica Q2, please select one from this list: https://bhpho.to/3Jbu0FK.

Q: 10. What are the interior dimensions of the upper layer? Are the dividers removable?

A: The upper insert is about 5" tall. All the inner dividers are removable.

[117 x 4 x 4"] Very good quality, heavy weight and easy to remove wrinkles on with a drapery steamer. What we received did not match the color displayed here, nonetheless, it is a great color. It is more green than earthtone as shown here, however if you go on the savage website it shows the correct green hue. Bottom line is the color is great for professional headshots and small group settings and we love it. Only complaint we had was the item was approximately 10x10... meaning we had to shear and hem 3 sides of it to get it to fit our 10x10 square stage. Apparently whoever cut and sewed the edges on this must have been high on something as the original edges were very wavy and it did not hang right. Overall, we recommend this product, for the $$ you can not beat it!

[Spot Clean] Purchased this muslin backdrop for my studio to give me a bright blue background. This cloth matches the color I expected. It has the appearance of sky and provides a good production with studio lights. The cloth is well constructed and thick enough to prevent light penetration when it is placed over other backdrops. As with all muslin backdrops I use a handheld steamer to remove wrinkles. The background is popular with my clients for portraits.

[1] The thickness is good for this price, and the painted fabric feels expensive. A few wrinkles but they remove with a little steam work. A very rich and pleasing background. Very happy, going to pick up another 1-2 of these.

[Spot Clean] I know the price scares you but we have taken these type of field glasses to safaris in Africa over 10 times. When we let the spotter and or driver use our glasses they ALL tell us they are the brightest and clearest they have ever used.

So a little heavy but well worth it when you need it.

[Spot Clean] Quite impressed, especially with the $350 discount B&H offered recently. These replaced my Trinovid BA 8x32s which served well for 18 years. Not a fair comparison, but the most striking improvement is the radical edge to edge sharpness. The center image is a slight but clear improvement over the classic trinovids, but this sharpness holds all the way to the edge of the view! Amazing. Focus is extremely fast and snappy, with excellent depth of field- less focus hunting than any other bino I’ve used. Great ergonomics, excellent lens caps, and a top shelf case and strap that you’d be happy to pay extra for if they weren’t included.

Using side by side with the trinovids, looking towards the sun, the glare control really stands out - not even a hint of glare in situations where the trinovids were unusable. Not sure how they do this, but the results are incredible - opening up a variety of angles you previously could not dream of viewing.

Since I haven’t used any of the other current generation alpha binoculars, I can’t speak to a comparison, but at this price, and with Leica’s warranty and service, it’s hard to imagine a better tool.

[Mottled Green] This background was perfect for what I needed to accomplish. While there was some color variation, it was not significant enough to pose any issues. The client was very happy with the way things turned out and that is what matters most. B&H was fantastic to deal with on the purchase and the rush shipment. When Savage messed up the initial order, B&H resolved matters for me quickly and efficiently. I'm very pleased with everything.

[Crossbar] Although this backdrop is not what I was looking for, I did like its quality of heavy texture and am sure that if I am searching in this venue at a future date, it would be a valuable purchase.

[117 x 4 x 4"] Have been a Leica owner for 15 years and these are hands down the best binoculars I have ever used. They are more comfortable to hold,
lighter, closer focusing and, most importantly, the view is incredible. Everyone who has looked through them has had a 'wow' or 'oh my gosh' moment. They are bright, sharp edge to edge, and have a great depth of field (almost 3 dimensional, which is very unusual in a roof prism binocular). I absolutely love and recommend them to anyone ready to step up to a premium (alpha) binocular.

[117 x 4 x 4"] After using 8x32 Trinovids for 18 years, I decided it was time for a change. I tried the Svarowski 8.5 x 42 but found them too clunky and didn't like the green color. I also tried the Leica Ultravid 8x42 HD plus and liked them. Then enter the 8x42 Noctivid! Coming from 8x32's, any 8x42 would look brighter, but these Noctivids blew me away. Crisp, sharp, bright and beautiful! I was very worried about the weight, the 8x32 are so light and I have some neck and shoulder issues. But the Noctivids are so well balanced that it took me minutes to get used to them. Btw the case it comes in is beautiful. I would highly recommend these.

[Spot Clean] Even though I was expecting a more dark brown, it looks more charcoal to me, which is fine because I love it regardless! Great pattern, great quality/thickness, and photographs great! The reverse side has ended up with a neat light gray-ish pattern to it as well, so even though I haven't tried it on the reverse side yet, I'm pretty sure I got two 'drops in one with this purchase. I love it.

Samples below: bronze statue called "Wolf Robe" by my dear friend Chris Levatino, showing the backdrop with and without back-lighting.
