[Melamine, Steel] I'm an Architect and spend a lot of time modeling and rendering. This machine is everything I could ask for and more! I graduated from a much older machine with about an 1/8th of the power and this thing is ridiculous! Productivity has increased substantially and render times have been cut in half without even breaking a sweat! My only knock would be that I had to wait 6 weeks to get the actual machine after I ordered it. This was because of an unfortunate back-ordered part that kept getting delayed. Not B&H's fault, just luck of the draw for me. I am completely satisfied and would strongly recommend this product.

[Melamine, Steel] Very happy with this purchase. The computer came equipped with a 500 GB SSD drive and no Wi-Fi. I added an Asus PCE-AX58BT Wi-Fi Adapter and a 6 TB WD Black 3.5 internal hard drive, both of which were relatively easy to install. I did have to purchase a SATA cable for the hard drive separately. I recommend at least an 18 SATA cable with right angle head on it.

[Melamine, Steel] This is a review for i7-9700, 500GB SSD, 16 GB RAM, no GPU version. This is an ideal workstation for professional applications that do not require the added cost of a GPU. Of course, this is configured to simplify adding a GPU at at later time, if needed for graphics-intensive work or gaming. It comes equipped with a beefy power supply and easy, no-tool access to the ample interior--with generous additional bays and connectors--which simply the process. As equipped, this makes a fantastic uber-desktop for handling MS office software, Adobe PDF, internet use, watching videos (and light editing), recording and mixing audio using Cubase or other DAW. It is exceptionally well made, using top quality parts. Owing to the heavy duty power supply and the SSD, this PC is nearly silent. The CPU (i7-9700) is a top performer for desktop office and audio tasks, and the included 16 GB RAM is more than enough to speed up workflow. The particular PCIe M.2 SSD is a high performance beast! Cubase and other software load quickly and this tower boots up unbelievably fast. HP support is exceptional, if you ever need it. One big advantage of getting a workstation model like this as opposed to a standard desktop, is that the 3-year onsite warranty and support are included in the price of the workstation. No added fees for upgraded warranty. B & H staff is consistently awesome at every stage--pre-ordering advice, suggesting upgraded components, website ordering, in-store pickup and Guest Technical Services. I used the onsite Guest Tech Services staff at the B & H store to install a secondary internal SSD that I purchased at the same time as this workstation. They were fast, professional, friendly, and extremely reasonably priced.

[Melamine, Steel] Very smooth set up, 32gb keeps everything moving quick, and I don't even know it's there...very quiet fan. I have 20+ tabs open on Chrome, editing websites, and artwork on Illustrator all at the same time, and it never even revs the fan. Highly recommended.

[Melamine, Steel] I bought this computer because my imac could no longer keep up with photoshop. Imacs are nice but can't be easily upgraded after purchase so their useful life is short. I put all my applications on the ssd and installed a 10tb hard drive for my images. Photoshop loads in seconds, which took minutes on my imac. Most photoshop operations are competed in seconds, instead of minutes. I bought a different keyboard and mouse as the ones that came with the computer were annoying

[Melamine, Steel] I upgraded from an old HP 6540 machine. The Z2 installed easily and has good internet speed. I do lots of photo work and photo file manipulations and the GPU works great with what I have given it. Mine came with a pcie card with 4 mini Display ports. I would rather not have had those and didn't know they would be installed. Had to get cables and adapters for full Display ports. I use dual monitors. I am well-pleased with the machine and would buy another like it.

[Melamine, Steel] I bought this tower workstation to use for video editing. It has been a dream to work with and I'm amazed you can get this much power for this price. I swapped out the video card, otherwise it's as is in my edit bay.

[1] It handles everything I throw at it. My camera is 30mp and I do lot's of layers in Photoshop - work with NIK filters - nothing slows this computer down. I'm using the internal graphics and so far can't find a reason to upgrade. Wish it had a front and back usb/c port. I added a wifi card. Nothing else on my wish list.
