[Cotton] Domke, has a winner in its PhoToGS Vest. Very comfortable and functional, in summer time temperatures in the southern states. The large pockets give you adequate room to carry necessary items with you on a shoot, everything from lens cleaning aids, memory cards and tools, to smaller lenses. This vest is well made and could last you a very long time.

[1.28 lb] With over 40 years in the Photographic field I have been a Domke fan due to the quality build light weight no nonsense approach to their products.
The vest was the missing part that I could not replace after wearing two of them out over the years of hard use to come to find out they had discontinued them. After logging on to the B&H web sight to research the options on replacing my well worn Domke camera bag found the vest by a stroke of luck and didn't think twice about the purchase.
At first I was a bit skeptical about the quality until I opened the box and wow was I surprised. The quality of the vest was even better than my past worn out vest which was discarded years ago.
The first thing I did was load it up and went on shoot it was like riding a bicycle every thing was right where I needed it. If your in the market for a photo vest this is the ticket hands down.
One word of advise if your between sizes go with the larger size when washed (which I did first off) they will shrink a bit the first time just like a your favorite pair of jeans.

[Cotton] After owning and enjoying several of the F10s for the past year I recently discovered the smaller F9. This is another fantastic Domke product and I heartily recommend it. Like it's bigger brother, the material is excellent, quality of workmanship is perfect and the bag is well thought out in every way. You can easily fit a smaller DSLR and extra lens in the main compartment. If you're a zoom guy then you might be better off with the F10 but if you travel lighter like I do and are shooting primes then this bag will suit you well. I can fit two film cameras no problem as well as 12 extra rolls in the front pocket or some rolls and a small prime lens or two. Many possiblities as the front zippered pocket expands quite a bit. The grab handle is very welcome on the top of the bag and is a feature often missing on smaller bags by competitors such as Crumpler. The shoulder strap is very comfortable and is non slip... Buy this bag!

I photograph football and this is the best way to carry heavy gear like lenses and water bottles. Tried a popular belt system but it was not as comfortable and continually slipped off my waist. Bought an extra size larger than normal to fit over insulated winter jackets.


Plus...it just looks way cool.

[1.28 lb] I originally ordered the Medium size but it was much too large. I wear medium shirts, sweaters, jackets, etc., but the I was literally swimming in the medium size vest, so I ordered the Small size and it fit perfectly, but still had plenty of room. A must-have for the event photographer.

[1.28 lb] I got this vest specifically for shooting music festivals. I didn't believe a 70-200 would actually fit in the pocket but it DID and it even fit with my EF-RF adapter attached to the end which made my weekend so much easier. I shoot many music festivals but after weekend one at Coachella wearing this, I couldn't believe how my neck + shoulders were in so much less pain from carrying everything in this vest. Not to mention, it has 9/10 different pockets for carrying everything you could ever need on you. I will be using this moving forward for shooting all music festivals. Thank you for this amazing invention!

[1.28 lb] I need to carry a lot of gear when photographing football: water bottle, flash, extra lenses, handwarmers, etc. Belt systems just don't work for me, they require constant readjustment to keep from sliding off my hips. The Domke vest handles all this stuff with no problem. Plus, it just looks way cool and makes a fashion statement.
