A: The Wimberley Module 8 M-8 Perpendicular Plate is not designed for use with the Sun-Sniper Camera Strap. It is designed for use with an Arca-type quick release plate mounted to the tripod mount on your camera, and gives you perpendicular movement of the camera when mounted on a gimbal or ball head. As it would be connected to the camera's tripod socket, it cannot be used simultaneously with the Sun-Sniper Camera Strap.

A: Either this or a 208 Hex would work. The Hex has the advantage that it will not rotate inside of the superclamp. With either of them inset them directly into the superclamp and do not attach to the stud.

A: Yes, this should work with the Ronin-SC as well.

A: In order for the included arm to be effective with a 7" monitor, it would be recommended to use a monitor with a side 1/4" 20 screw mount. [Chrome] A great inexpensive option for basic mounting on S and SC gimbals. Plenty of articulation and clearance for all your basic monitors and small LED lights. Can't really beat it for 16 bucks. It's also conventional rigging so if you have camera cages or other stuff it will work with that too. 5

[Metal] The mount is made of solid metal and fits perfectly. Since DJI wasnt smart enough to add a standard 1/4 20 thread mount anywhere on the Ronin S, Im glad I found this! I use it to mount my monitor and it works great. 5

[0.38 lb] Great for counter balancing larger lenses on DSLR cameras when using gimbals. I use this plate for my DJI Ronin SC Gimbal which is difficult to balance larger lenses on. 5

[Chrome] Some of my smaller lenses don't have collars/foot, it was almost impossible to use my Benro GH2 gimbal head. With the addition of an arcs swiss on the bottom of my camera, this perpendicular plate allows attachment of the camera onto the gimbal head. Perfect solution! 5

[Metal] Fitting a Z 70-200mm S lens with RRS LCF-21 Replacement Lens Foot mounted on Z 9 with RRS Modular L-Plate into Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal Tripod Head II would not balance properly. RRS simply blamed the shape of the Z 9 and offered no suggestion, although the LCF-21 might have been designed to be slightly taller which would seem to be really right and would have avoided the problem. Wimberley suggested this Perpendicular Plate be fit on the L-Plate and then into the WH-200. Balances fine, but be mindful not to stress the lens mount as the lens is not otherwise supported. This is also excellent for smaller lenses with the Z 9 on the WH-200. 5
