  A: Yes, it does. If a lens is attached, the gimbal should be rotated so the lens points to the aft end of the aircraft. The gimbal and lens are not cushioned by foam in that position, but careful personal transport over short distances should be OK, in my opinion. A rep from the manufacturer concurred, but she said they recommend removing the gimbal when shipping the case.

  A: The DJI smart controller is 6.9 x 4.7x 1.6 inches while the DJI RC Remote Controller for DJI Drones is 6.6 x 4.9 x 1.8" , so the DJIRC is not going to fit perfectly in the Go Professional Cases Hard Case for DJI Mavic 3 with Smart Controller's controller slot, but with a little modification it should be able to fit.
