[0.65] I purchased this kit to improve my in-office videography.  I needed a kit that will evenly light the faces without being harsh or make the subjects of the video squint.  This kit absolutely met the need with two soft light boxes with diffusers, fluorescent bulbs and 6 foot stands on which to mount them - a complete setup.  Need a little bit of patience when assembling the light boxes.  But the resulting videos are a quantum improvement in lighting quality. The video camera seems to love this lighting.  I could not be more satisfied with this purchase.

[Oak Brown] As are all F-stop packs this is another quality product. I purchased this with the Medium insert. They also make a drone specific bag for a DJI Mavic series drone that fits on top of the medium insert and a smaller bag thats good for recharging gear on top of the drone bag. This all fits into the Lotus 4 Core bag which is carry on size for most airlines. Worst case on a flight somewhere, and they demand to check the bag, just pull out the insert with your main camera gear and carry that on. Treated with minimal care, this bag should last many years. For me, it's ideal for air travel or any type of travel where you want your camera gear with drone in a minimum sized bag. Also a good bag for day hiking day trips. Overall a nice compact quality bag with lots of options. Recommended!

[0.65] I am enjoying these lights and stands. They seem to be well made and I like the way they soften the light. They are a bear to assemble, so I will store them without breaking them down. That is the only negative thing I can say, and that is not going to be a problem for me. If you have to travel, you might want to look at other units.

[2" / 50 mm] I've been putting off getting a new backpack for some time but finally decided, since it was long overdue, that I had to do it. I had been skeptical of buying one without getting to try it on but after reading the reviews decided to jump in.
I really love this pack. It's the right size for me, volume wise & the fit is great. Really like that it can carry a hydration bladder for those longer days, plus all the extra layers needed for changeable weather. Build is very solid & I look forward to many years of use.
If your in the market, I'd highly recommend this pack.

[2" / 50 mm] Don't let the names of this paper series fool you. The bamboo, hemp, agave and sugar cane are more than you might expect. The papers range in texture and tooth but overall have a smooth finish. I was surprised at how dense all of them are. Looking forward to being able to purchase one singular style in a pack. I prefer 300 gsm papers, so this sample pack is a win.

[0.65] These lights are listed as “ fluorescent “ because they are delivered with 8 Eiko CFL lamps. I called B&H to ask if I can use LED bulbs, and was psyched to hear yes.

I’ve been using China ball lights for both stills and video on my Canon SL1.
This is my first real light kit. Assembly was easy. Sure, I have to have them plugged into a wall indoors or outdoors. I adjust the light by changing wattage, or simply adding or removing lamps from the fixture.
Same with color temperature.

I’ve been testing them indoors for my first four headshot clients tomorrow in my cabin/studio at one mile above sea level.!

[2" / 50 mm] I already have a reasonably nice Manfrotto backpack, but with some hiking on the horizon in the Colorado Rockies, I bought the F-Stop Lotus 32L Essentials backpack because the reviews were impressive and the specs showed a lower weight and an ability to carry slightly more gear than my Manfrotto. The quality seems excellent, I really love the Essentials inclusion of the Slope internal camera unit. The Lotus seems to be quite rugged, good quality zippers and the Essentials combo also includes a nice rain cover. My first hike for this 74 year old body went remarkably well. A younger me might have gone for a larger 40L or 50L F-Stop Essentials, but for a day hike, or a 1 or 2 overnight hike, the Lotus 32L is worth your consideration.
