This is an ARRI Head to Ballast Cable. The 50' (15.2 m) long cable is compatible with 575, 1200 and 1800W heads such as the ARRISUN 5, 12 Plus, 18, and 40/25 heads. It's also compatible with the ARRIMAX M18, the ARRI X X5 and X12, D5 and D12 Fresnels and the Compact 575 and 1200 heads.

A: No. Purchased and returned because it is not 1/8 on both ends. The other is 2.5mm I believe

Q: 6. Why does it list a male connector as an essential element to this kit? Do you have to manually do wire splicing to get this light to work?

A: Due to the input power requirements a plug is not included so that the end user can wire it according to their own needs. 90-130 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 25-19 A 180-250 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 13-10 A

Q: 7. So If using in California, what would the exact plug be? The one listed?

A: In most cases this unit will not run of a standard US outlet and 15a breaker. You will need a plug based on the location your shooting at specific wiring.

Q: 8. Will this cable work as a replacement on Koss DJ100 headphones?

A: No it will not be compatible with Koss DJ100 headphones.

Q: 9. what kind of remote units work with this flash read. I already have Hensel strobe Wizard plus transmitter, is it work?

Q: 10. I see HMI's that are 1200/1800 watts. The ballast is dual wattage and the head is dual wattage. Can I just use a 1200 watt bulb instead of a 1800 watt bulb? With the 1200 watt bulb will the unit draw the less amperage. I want to be able to get the M18 and use a 1200 watt bulb and plug it into a 15A household circuit without blowing the breaker.

A: Yes you can use a 1200 watt lamp like the ARRI HMI SE Lamp - 1200 watts - for Aarrisun 12 Plus, Compact HMI 1200W, Arri-X 12 B&H # ARLAS12P in an Arri M18 head.

[19 lb] It never hurts to have these cable crossover in hand. They proved handy during a small event I participated a couple of weeks ago. It's an extra step added towards the safety of your guests and your employees. I happen to like the blue color but I know other colleagues would prefer black. 5

[19 lb] This is a useful cable when for instance you've got an iris and a focus motor on an Angenieux EZ zoom, and your motors are mounted one on the bottom and one above the lens. Also useful to reach from your cforce motors back to an LCUB or UMC if your camera build isn't too long. Always good to have a variety of lengths available. 5

[20 x 20 x 5"] A 1' LBUS cable is just about the perfect length for me. I often mount my motors from the top of the camera, so a 1' cable reached from the LBUS port on the lens mount up to a top-mounted motor just perfectly. If using more than one motor, I try to place them on either side of the lens in order to balance the weight for my operator, and again the 1' cable is the perfect size to reach across the lens to the other motor. 5

[19 lb] these lamps usually last around 700 hours. Thank God the m18 lamp head comes with an actual counter to let you know when you are close. Somewhere around 500 hours, I would buy a replacement bulb. just keep it with you handy in case you blow a bulb.one quick gaffer trick is to throw a scrim between the lamp lens and the barn doors when you shut off the light in cold weather so you don't crack a glass on the lamp, or blow the bulb. the theory is that the metal in the scrim will help the glass to cool down at a slower rate. 5
