A: No, the Godox KNOWLED MG1200Bi Bi-Color LED Monolight is not compatible with Bowens mount modifiers. This light uses a proprietary mount created by Godox called the G Mount.

A: The Godox KNOWLED MG1200Bi Bi-Color LED Monolight is a 1400w LED. You will need to not only plug it in but be careful of the breakers you use it with as this draw of this light is relatively substantial.

Q: 4. How does one compare light output between the 300 watt knowledge and a 300 watt arri hotlight. Lumen aren't mentioned in specs

A: With both lights at 3200° K and placed at a distance of 3.3 ft (1m) from the subject, the Godox Knowled M300Bi with its reflector will produce 118,000 lux while the Arri 300 Plus Fresnel would produce 4500 lux while in flood position.

Q: 5. Is this compatible with the Lightbridge C wheels mounting hardware?

A: According to the manufacturer, the Godox KNOWLED LiteFlow 50 Reflector Kit (20 x 20") should fit items like the LightBridge C-Wheel 2.0 Male Spigot, B&H # LICRLSG2CSV2. Note that Godox says it should fit, but they are not 100 percent sure.

Q: 6. Is the 15,700 lumens @ 3m with or without the reflector? I'm trying to understand why the output of this light is claimed to be about 3x more than the output of similar lights like the Aputure LS 600X Pro (as compared in the spec sheet).

A: The Godox Knowled M600D Daylight LED Light is 15,700 Lux at 9.8'. Lumens is not rated in distance.

Q: 7. What type of spray do I need to clean it? And where can I get it?

A: The Godox KNOWLED LiteFlow 25 Medium Light Reflector (10 x 10") is made of aluminum. You can use some metal cleaner, but I suggest testing it on a small part first. Alternatively, Windex should work as well.

Q: 8. Are there Grids for this? Can this work on the MG1200bi ?

It takes a little time to build the frame and get everything attached, but the end product is nice and lightweight and the output was about equivalent to a 1200d with a Litedome 150. It has some punch for a soft light. Makes for a beautiful tabletop or shallow profile overhead source that's nice and soft. The knob on the fixed spud on the back seems cheap, so I hope it doesn't strip. Overall, a solid buy for the $ 5

Great ergonomics, beautiful white light, simple controls on the power-pack and the Godox Light App. Suitcase is good quality, but my wife is the only one who can repack the kit. Extremely quiet fans. Very happy that 600 watts is now more affordable. Here's a tip: If you have modifiers with other mounts and you plan to convert them for COB lights with Bowens mounts, make sure to choose LOW PROFILE adapters. They are shorter by almost an inch, and they allow the COB to reach in to the modifier and spread light. Standard Bowens adapter rings will create a bit of a tunnel effect, preventing the light from spreading properly, and also in some cases casting shadows from rods within certain softboxes. One more tip: The Godox Fresnel 10 is very heavy and doesn't produce great barndoor cuts. I went instead with the Nanlite Fresnel 20G, and it is holding up fine to the 600 watts while producing lovely results. Enjoy! 5

I'm working this item for tinting 'in the field' some of my macro images. Battery lasts quite a while, and color control on the phone works wonderfully. I haven't tried it on a mini tripod yet, but it 'feels' balanced where the mount is located. 5

Like staring into the sun! Build quality is superb with the light housing and surprisingly compact when compared to their VL300. Better quality twist lock cabling with a very robust power supply. Outstanding value! 5

Love the Knowled line. Super color accurate, really powerful and the app is really versatile, easy to use, and responsive. Strong yoke, easy connections, weather resistant. I used it in the rain for 6 hours the first day I received it and it kept up fine. 5
