Q: 1. Can you tell me exactly what model # flashlights these filters along with the other colors and defusers fits as I want to get a flashlight that works with this type filter & defuser one that has the rubber type housing & lanyard hole. Will they work with the XML-T6 or UltraFire C8 ?

A: You will need to check the head diameter of these flashlights. It needs to be 1.6 (4.0 cm) at the head diameter to work with these filters. Many of the better known flashlights - Surefire, Nitecore, EagleTec, Fenix, etc have standard head diameter sizes of there high-end tactical lights. I'm not familiar with UltraFire. XML-T6 is a Cree LED type and comes in many flashlight brands. Check for the actual flashlight model and then check for the head diameter. On a quick web search for the UltraFire C8 it looks like the head diameter is 45mm. Not a standard filter size and so the filter above will not work. But check the specs before a final decision. The 40mm filters also come in red, blue, sometimes yellow (rare) and a white light diffuser. You might also check the flashlight manufacturers site for models of their filters - they may be custom.

Q: 2. Do i need to buy battery/charger separately? and if so which ones

A: The batteries are CR123A. You need 2 of them. They are available as standard (non-rechargeable) as well as rechargeable. I bought the Watson brand batteries with the charger and so far they seem to work fine. I don't have anything to compare them to.

Q: 3. Does this come with batteries?

A: Yes it comes with batteries(no name brand) red colored if I remeber

Q: 4. Where can you buy the battery?

A: You can purchase them from B&H. I use the the CR123 batteries with this light. It takes two. I get my batteries from Battery Junction. They are as cheap as $1.00/each but there are many places that sell these.

Q: 5. Does this come with battery?

A: No, you will have to buy one. Excellent choice.... Very happy using for more than a year now

Q: 6. Is that battery replaceable? I'd like to carry a spare and swap them when necessary.

A: Yes, the battery for the Nitecore P20i UV Rechargeable Tactical LED Flashlight with UV Light is replaceable: https://bhpho.to/3P14Kol

Q: 7. is the included 21700 battery Nitecore branded?

A: Yes the 21700 battery that is included would be Nitecore branded.

Q: 8. How long will this light operate in 6K lumen mode? Will it overheat and shut down?

A: With fresh IMR batteries the light will run in Turbo for 45 minutes before the thermal protection shuts it down.

Q: 9. How many mAH are the including batteries with TM28 ? Should be the IMR 3100mAH 18650fro Nitecore!

A: Nitecore does not specify the batteries included, but does give a chart showing runtimes. Depending on output level selected it can vary from 1 to 1000 hours.

Q: 10. Is the power flashing indication continuous or can it be turned off?

A: The Nitecore MH10 V2 Rechargeable LED Flashlight indicator light flashes slowly while the battery is charging and stops flashing and is steady when charging is complete. The indicator light will flash quickly when the charging process is "abnormal" (the battery is broken or inserted incorrectly).

[0.15 lb] I was primarily interested in this filter to watch owls and other nocturnal animals. Like it! Note that the distance at which you can see an object will be reduced by a factor of 10, compared to white light. This is about 40 m at high power - still enough to spot an animal without blinding it.

[0.15 lb] I already had a red filter exactly like this so I knew what I was getting. It works great. I have a 2000 lumen flashlight that it works well on and a 500 lumen LEP (Weltool W4) that it also works great on. The rubber holds the glass on securely and can help keep it from rolling.
