The 10' Sescom 2-Channel XLR Male to Female Audio Snake Cable 10ftfrom Sescom 2-Channel XLR Male to Female Audio Snake Cable 10ftis a highly flexible cable for control room layout and interfacing between equipment racks, audio patch bays, mixers, and multitrack recorders. It features 24" fanouts and is made with a Canare 25AWG cable and Neutrik 3-pin connectors with chuck-style strain relief for secure clamping. It's PVC-jacketed for strength and durability and has color-coded connectors for easy identification. The XLR channels are individually shielded.

A: Yes, you can use the VXLR adapter with the Deity mic.. The VXLR adapter converts 3.5mm TRS to XLR. Since the Deity mic uses a 3.5mm TRS to 3.5mm TRRS cable and you need TRS to TRS, swap out the original mic cable and use a standard stereo aux cable such as the Kopul CMX-RC30 Right-Angle Coiled Stereo Mini Cable - Black, 8 to 30" (B&H # KOCMXRC30B).

A: When using a TRS lavalier microphone with an XLR mic input, you would want to use the Rode VXLR Pro (BH #ROVXLRPRO) to convert 48v phantom power to plugin power for the lavalier. The Rode Smartlav+ uses a TRRS connector meant for smart phones and mobile devices, so before using it with this adapter you will need to convert its TRRS connection to a TRS connection with an adapter such as the Rode SC3 (BH #ROSC3).

A: That is correct.

[0.545 lb] This 6-pin cord was hard to find. But found it at B&H. It fits the microphone I needed it for and thats all one could ask. Its 25'. I wished there were more choices as I would have opted for a shorter length. 5

[Neutrik] I was interested in the possible sound quality difference between this 50' cable and a really short one (3 to 18). I did a test recording in stereo with the left channel using my really short one (Kopul Coiled 3-Pin XLR-M to Angled 3-Pin XLR-F Cable (3 to 18)) and the right channel using this 50' cable coiled on the floor. I kept mics and recorder exactly the same for the experiment and rotated my setup in the room halfway through in case there was one side of the room that was better than another. By ear I can detect no difference between the two sides in the recording. Both had no discernible hiss when recording a vocalist. Fantastic!! 5
