This NiSi C5 Matte Box 4 x 5.65" Filter Trayfrom NiSi C5 Matte Box 4 x 5.65" Filter Trayis designed to be used with the NiSi C5 Matte Box System. It can hold 4 x 5.65" (100 x 143.5mm) glass or resin filters, either 2 or 4mm thick. It has durable aluminum construction with a spring-loaded filter holding solution.

[Aluminum] Love this Matte Box I use the VND 1-9 stop with this. The NiSi filter work great with no color shift. We will see how it holds up. I wish NiSi would make a 3 stage because you can't use the VND along with 4x5.65 and have any other filters like a mist etc.. Very happy with this purchase. 5

[Aluminum] I bought this to use a 4x4 filter on the small rig matte box. I wanted to use the matte box in extreme environments (eg rock climbing) and needed ND to film. The variable NDs are all pretty bad that I have used - this is a good solution for a 3-stop 4x4 filter. The mini matte box does not have side flags so this eliminates some flare potential by having less width to cover. I am using it on a g9II with either the 12-35mm or the 9mm M4/3 lenses and vignetting is not an issue on video. For stills there is slight vignetting on the 9mm, but that's not my primary purpose here. All in all good if you don't want to risk your expensive 4x5.65 so close to the front of your rig. Now all I need to solve is keeping the dust off of the glass filter in rough environments. 5

[Aluminum] This allows me to use my same filters on my gimbal rig that I use on my handheld and tripod rig. I love that they are stackable, too. 5

[Aluminum] It's a filter tray that locks in perfectly for the SmallRig Mini Matte box.... Not much to say about this thing other than it works. It locks in to place securely and leaves you with a sense of confidence that your filter won't fall out (unlike the Tiltaing Matte Box, with its small, knobby pin-stop mechanism). The only small gripe I have is that this is plastic. I should have realized that before purchasing, but honestly, I still would have bought this again even if I knew it was plastic - especially considering how inexpensive this is! 5
