Add a versatile tripod system and LANC controller to your kit with this Acebil j-805GX(N) Prosumer Tripod with Zoom Controllerfrom Acebil. The j-805GX(N) kit includes a tripod, a ground spreader, a fluid head, and the SZ-300 LANC zoom controller. A carry case is also included to transport the kit.

The 2-stage tripod system supports small camera rigs up to 11 lb. The LANC zoom controller can mount onto your tripod and provides wired control for LANC-compatible Sony, Canon, JVC, and Panasonic cameras.

If I had all Blackmagic cameras I'd just use the switcher's functionality to make necessary adjustments. Any ideas?

A: This item is not compatible with your GH5, however, we do have another product that is. Consider the LanParte LRC-02 Remote Control for Panasonic Cameras (BH #LALRC02 • MFR #LRC-02)

Q: 3. Will this work with the Sony FS7? In particular, will the iris control work? Thanks

A: The Acebil RM-S1 features zoom, focus and iris controls and is compatible with Sony and Canon LANC cameras. The Sony FS7 is LANC Compatible. While this device has not been specifically tested with the FS7 we believe it will work with the camera and it should allow you to control the iris.

Q: 4. Is this compatible with the Canon CN-E 70-200mm lens?

A: We have not tested it, nor have we heard of such use in general or from the manufacturer. However, the lens is designed to work with similar controls so we are not seeing anything saying it will not work.

Q: 5. It use for sony pxw200 camera

A: I'm afraid not, this controller is for cameras that utilize the Sony and Canon LANC Protocol. The PXW-X200 utilizes the EX control system, it would not be compatible with this unit I'm afraid.

Q: 6. What is the height of this tripod?

A: The tripod has a max height of 59 inches tall.

Q: 7. Will it work with my Fujinon XT17x4?

A: No, This Acebil RMC-8PRO Video Lens Zoom Controller for ENG Cameras will not support the XT1 or XT4.

Q: 8. Would this work on a Canon 5D Mark IV?

A: This will not work with the 5D Mark IV.

Q: 9. Will this work on a 3-Pod tripod?

A: this will only work on select Acebil tripods

A: No, there are no LANC connectors on this camera.

[2] I use this product with the Sony AX100 camcorder. It has smooth T/W functions. I can adjust speeds with touching on the rocker with light pressure or hard. We use three of these on our cameras. 5

[+90° to -60°] I do beach weddings and other events and this tripod has been perfect for what I use it for. It was a little stiff at first which is no problem because after a days worth of use it was smooth as a baby. 5

[Yes] I use this on a normal height tripod where I dont need an on/off button for the camera. I use others when Ive got the camera on a 20 tripod and need that additional control. Works great. This is my preferred solution in that case. 5

[Yes] Extremely solid and well built. But the legs are not extendable, so you get what you see. The Teather dollies, have extending legs that surpass these, and maybe not as well built like this, but certainly at a lower price point, give these guys a run for their money. 5

I stumbled upon this tool while browsing for other accessories and it took some considerable time to take a chance considering the price. Glad I went with the controller. It works great and when I shoot video on a tripod ... this gets connected. Makes the task so much easier. Would be lost without it. 5

[2] I got this along with the adapter cable (Sony VMCAVM1) and it works perfectly on my new Sony FDR-AX100 4K camcorder, should work well with any new Sony that has the multi function remote port (basically a mini usb). This remote will do fairly slow zooms as well as fast zooms. Does not jump from one speed to another as far as I can tell so far. I already had a remote tripod from Sony with a Lanc connector that had broken off. I attached this unit over top of the handle and it works fine, it also fits my manfrotto tripod and monopod at well as my glidecam 2000. 5

I have spent over $ 2000.00 on tripods , before, and I can honestly compare this tripod with other tripods that costed me 5x more than this one . I love the features on this tripod, the quality, the material the tripod is made off, and best of all the weight of the tripod. is very easy to carry around with me, and fast and easy to set it up.
