I don't know if there is similar adapter supplied by Panasonic. Note, I used this to attach an Olympus E-PL6 camera back to a Meade EXT-90 telescope. There was a problem with this. The telescope was configured for a 35mm film camera. I had to machine down the short extension tube n order to barely get the digital camera into the end of the telescope's focus range.

A: The General Brand 49mm to M42 Reversing Adapter is not compatible with the Pentax K-mount. You can select the Pentax K-mount under the camera mount options. However, these options for the Pentax K-mount are only available in the 49mm and 52mm thread sizes.

Q: 4. I have a Minolta x700 and wikipedia says that it has a SR Mount. Is it possible to use this reverse ring on my camera? Because I can't find one that's made especially for an SR mount.

[Mamiya ZE] I bought this adapter for the purpose of learning and working with Reverse Lens Photography. This adapter works as I expected it to perform, my problem is getting used to this type of focusing, a learning lesson on my part. 5

[Mamiya ZE] Using this adapter on a D5100 Nikon with focus screen. Bought a Pentax film camera with a 50mm lense from Goodwill cheap. attached in reverse with this product for maybe 2to1 magnification. There is no cuminacation from lense to camera because the adapter has no contacts. Have to shoot on manual & no auto focus or exposure. Great product @ a great price. 5

[Mamiya ZE] For the price this cannot be beat! I get almost 1:1 but not quite with my 50mm and about 2:1 with my 28mm. Meaning that the object is about 2x larger on the sensor than it is in real life with my 28mm lens. The depth of field is really quite small and you will need to push your ISO or use a tripod which will push your technique. Once you start playing with this it is addictive! The only con is that occasionally I don't screw it on to the lens tight enough and it stays on the camera as the lens screws off. This makes removing the ring a bit of a pain. 5

[Mamiya ZE] This product works great. Only one thing to remember, make sure you go into the Custom Functions on your camera and disable the shutter release lock. If you don't do this you can not trip the shutter, the camera thinks that there is no lens on the camera. Once you do this you will not have any problem. 5
