Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this an InkJet Printable Disk?

A: YES. ONCE YOU BUY THE PRINTABLE INKJET LABELS

Q: 2. Does the gooseneck unscrew from the included clamp. If so, what kind of threading is on the end of the gooseneck? Thanks in advance for your time!

A: Yes, the gooseneck can be separated from the clamp. The manufacturer has not provided a spec for the thread size of the gooseneck since it was not intended to be used without the clamp.

Q: 3. Will this fit the Blue Yeti microphone?

A: Almost certainly not. My Rode NT2-A microphone (for which I purchased this product) is about 5.5 cm in diameter while the Blue Yeti is about 12 cm (about 4.7 ) in diameter.

Q: 4. Will this perfectly fit the NT-USB Mini? That product is definitely not the same same size as any of the listed models.

A: No. The Rode WS2 Pop Filter / Wind Shield is built to fit NT1-A, NT2-A, NT1000, NT2000, NTK, K2, PodMic, and Broadcaster Microphones. It is not compatible for use with the NT-USB Mini. Rode does not offer a windscreen for the NT-USB Mini. Instead, you can use a pop filter such as the Auray PFNY-6 Nylon Pop Filter with Gooseneck and C-Style Clamp for Mic Stands and Booms (B&H # AUPFNY6).

Q: 5. Would this fit the podcaster?

A: Perfect!

Q: 6. Then what does the description Silver Thermal Lacquer Hub-Printable refer to.And can B&H order Verbatim Silver InkJet Printable dual layered DVDs. You have the white printable 8.5GB DVDs - why not the Silver 8.5GB???DVDs.

A: These disks require a thermal Inkjet printer like the Microboards G4 Disc Publisher. It cannot be used with a standard inkjet printer.

Q: 7. Difference between Medd-10003 and Medd-1005/7?

A: The Microboards MEDD-10003 is Silver Thermal Lacquer Hub-printable and the Microboards MEDD-10005 is Everest White Thermal Hub-printable.

Q: 8. Will this help with sibilance? The hissing sound emitted from the letter s?

A: No. The PFSS-55 pop filter reduces noise created by plosives that occur with P, B, and T sounds. You can try adjusting the EQ to help reduce high-pitched hisses from S sounds.

Q: 9. This is virtually the same as other metal pop-filters that cost about 40-60$; Why get those when this is MUCH cheaper?

A: The PFMR metal pop filter is designed as a lower-priced option that provides the same function and effectiveness as similar items that cost more.

Q: 10. would this fit on a blue yeti???

A: This pop filter would work with the Blue Yeti, when the mic is used with a typical mic stand, such as the Auray MS-5230F Tripod Microphone Stand with Fixed Boom, BH #AUMS5230F. When the Blue Yeti is used with it's included tabletop stand, this pop filter will not have anywhere to clamp on, so it is best to use the Blue The Pop - Universal Wire Mesh Windscreen, BH #BLTP.

[12.5 x 6.2 x 1"] The only way to filter, especially with ribbon mikes. There are others that work well enough, but they seem to block the sound a bit... coming out of them you won't feel a breeze, but the PS101 emits this gentle breeze which is just enough to convey the sound waves unimpeded.
Always use a pop filter of some kind, and the metal ones last and are washable, but this one is the best.

[0.52 lb] The sound was slightly 'cushioned' at the high end by my double-nylon-mesh filter, and it added heft
and leverage to the mounting. This sounds really clean and weighs less. Pop protection isn't as absolute but I just tip the screen 30 degrees off flat-on. Yes, you can read through it. The sharp edges don't bother me...they aren't bad.

[Pop Filter] This was more than I wanted to spend on a pop filter, but none of the items below it in price seemed to be favored by a majority of people. I also did not know that they MADE metal pop filters, or that they performed this well. This is a nice product, it checks all the boxes on the good side of what people always seem to be hollering about on the cheap items. Can't find a flaw outside of the rim, which is left un-trimmed, not sharp, but oddly incomplete-seeming. To finish it would have been another 5-8 bucks though, and I don't need it trimmed with a rubber edge.

[0.52 lb] Its used to block pops coming through the mic and this does a great job at doing that. I get clear sound no pops what so ever

[Pop Filter] I've purchased a few other pop filters and this is by far the best the best one. It's sleek, the goose neck is very sturdy yet flexible, and well built. Plus it came on time, which isn't a certainty in this shipping-compromised time. Definitely a solid affordable metal pop filter

[12.5 x 6.2 x 1"] I had a double-nylon-messh pop filter but I thought I would try a metal mesh. Not quite as protective, but if you tilt the screen 20 degrees off perpendicular, it works great. I did not anticipate the improvement in high frequencies over the nylon mesh...wow! I'm hooked on this. Without a frame it's very light. I dab the edges with a little E6000 and sharp edges are covered. This lit up my voiceovers...who knew?

[0.52 lb] Seems to work quite well. Obvious use is for vocals. Not much more to say, other than that it looks nice too. The clip-on part is designed to fit on a fairly narrow mic stand pole, evidently. It doesn't quite work with my set up, but I managed to affix it to something.

[0.52 lb] Definitely a quality Pop Filter. Was going to get a cheaper nylon pop filter but the metal ones are a better choice! Goose neck works pretty well too! I only thing I don't like is there's no plastic guard around the edges of the filter so you can get poked once in a while!
