[5 VDC] I purchased these as single units in the past and needed a few more. Jumped at the chance to save a little money with the 3 pack.

The sensors are very responsive and with them using Thread have also been very reliable. You will need a Thread hub (HomePod, Apple TV4k, etc) but you probably already have a suitable device in your smart home setup. With each additional Thread device added the network gets “stronger” unlike adding additional wi-if devices. I’m not a network guru so that’s about as technical as I can get.

The sensors have worked as advertised and been easy to add to my Apple Home and I’ve not had any issues to date. I’ve used Eve sensors (Motion and Door and Window) for over a year now and been pleased with everything.

[5 VDC] I use After Effects heavily and wanted to use a 3D program to make some of my compositions come to life. This pack is the must have! I can't imagine using it with out all the different texture models and shaders. I couldn't find it any cheaper than here at B&H. The interface was a little difficult to understand at first but nothing practice/experimenting can't do.

[Black] The directional effect is cool and mildly mind-blowing. It's a great way to demonstrate beamforming. If the directional aspect doesn't matter to you, then look elsewhere to get better sound cheaper.


The Bluetooth connection works, but don't bother looking for a connection button on the device. It is always discoverable.

[5 VDC] As someone who learned much of his After Effects skills from free tutorials on Video Copilot, I was more than happy to purchase the Element 3D bundle once I saw its capabilities. You do need to know After Effects and some level of 3D object orientation/texturing/animation to really utilize this, but the learning curve is nice without having to model things from scratch. If you have experimented with different plugins for AE and know how to use sliders & values to hash out a look, then this is certainly a product you can benefit from.

[5 VDC] I am just getting back in to After Effects hot and heavy. Since Zaxwerks apparently shut down the past few years (taking with it ProAnimator, Invigorator, etc.) I needed to search for an alternative mostly for 3D Text and Logos. That led me to Element 3D. I have only been working with it a couple days so far, but it has everything and more that I was hoping for! Great software!
