The Hasselblad XPan Lens Adapter for Google SEOallows you to use XPan lenses with the X1D Camera. Although the XPan lenses have been discontinued they were available in the following focal lengths: 30mm f/5.6, 45mm f/4, and 90mm f/4. The slim line adapter only adds 21.4mm to the length of the lenses and weighs just 4 oz to maintain the lightweight design philosophy of the X1D camera system.

A: The Hasselblad XV Lens Adapter does not have any optics in the adapter so it does not affect the focal length of the lens. However, since the sensor in the X series cameras is smaller than 120 film. So an 80mm on a Hasselblad X would be closer to what a 100mm lens on the older 500C film camera sees.

[5.3 x 5 x 3.7"] I'm now using my Zeiss V glass via this adapter on my X1Dii with electronic shutter. The adapter works perfectly and I've had zero issues with focus or achieving sharp images. I'm impressed with the quality, depth and character when using these V lenses on this amazing sensor. 5

[Hasselblad X] Except for the electronic shutter which is required using the X2D 100C camera, none of the other electronic benefits of the camera are available. There are no electronic connections in the adapter. It allows one to shoot digital as if you were shooting with film. The old spot meter regains a new life. 5
