[5.64 oz / 160 g] This SmallRig Arca-Type quick release plate lets one mount optical systems with either 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 mounting threads. In the case of my Tamron 300mm f2.8, I can even use both for a really secure connection from lens with camera to tripod. If you do not have a quick release plate on every piece of equipment with tripod mounting threads, standardizing on this item will mean that you always have the one you need.

[6 x 5.6 x 2.1"] I've used a lot of QR systems, from Manfrotto, Peak Design, Falcam, and others. This is by far the best one I've used. I will be ordering many more of these. The main reason I bought it was for my gimbal. The problem with all the other QR systems is that they have a bit of play in them. This little bit of wobble makes them a bad choice for gimbals, as it can slightly throw it off the balance or just move a little in the middle of a shot and ruin the footage. This system is super tight, no play whatsoever. And yet, its even easier to take on and off than all the other systems I've used. I always thought PGYTECH was just a Peak Design copy cat, but on this one they beat them at their own game. Now I just hope they come out with more base options. I'd like to see one that you could attach the screw from the top, so I could rig the base to all sorts of cheese plate type stuff. Then I could use these for way more than just my cameras.

Also if you watch YT videos on this, you'll hear a very loud snap. I thought the snap might be too loud for me, as I do weddings and sometimes need to be extremely quiet. The snap is some what loud when there's no camera or stand connected, but as soon as there is the sound is absorbed and the snap is very quiet. In fact on my heavy fluid head I though something was wrong because I couldn't hear the snap at all.

[0.49 lb] This is a high quality, well built plate. The adjustment is smooth and solved a problem for me.
