There are only two common scenarios we know whereby the process does consistently fail. First, it will fail if an incompatible colorimeter is used such as the X-Rite i1 Display or Plus (non Pro) or the Calibrite ColorChecker Display or Plus (non Pro). That's because the Pro version of those must be used. Second, while this cable is used with many different monitors, on many of then you must go to the input settings on the recorder then make sure the Remote is set to Calibration/LANC before use.
