Ideal for use in modern recording and broadcast studios, the DIGI-TOOL F611 from Lake People is a distribution amplifier and digital splitter designed to deliver up to eight expanded AES/EBU XLR outputs for one input at sample rates as high as 24-bit / 192 kHz. The F611 features two separate modules, each with one balanced, digital XLR input and four balanced, digital XLR outputs, which can be operated individually, providing two 1-in, 4-out routings, or together to split one input into eight.

The unit features high output voltages for maintaining signal strength over very long distances, and a high input sensitivity helps to regenerate weak input signals. The F611 also sports failsafe operation thanks to its switchable multimode power supply, which automatically detects power input and switches to the appropriate voltage between 90 and 260 VAC.

One of the most important features of any professional distribution amplifier is the signal strength of the output, as a strong signal is vital for high-quality broadcasts and complex digital signal routings. Oftentimes, a studio may need to feed digital signals over very long distances, resulting in significant loss.

To address this issue, the F611 sports AGC amplifiers to produce 5 Vpp output signals, more than enough to cover extremely long cable runs while maintaining optimal signal integrity. All I/O is balanced and both the inputs and outputs feature transformers for ensuring ideal signal strength, even allowing the unit to recover (regenerate) lost signal strength when receiving weak input signals.

Q: 1. Can I fire my flash from (with) this meter

A: If you attach a sync cord or a wireless transmitter to the sync port of the KFM-1100 Auto Digi Meter, it could fire a flash.

Q: 2. Does this boom come with counter weight ? If so, what type ?

A: The LATCH LAKE RB2200 micKing RetroBoom Telescoping Boom Arm features a 7 LBS counterweight.

Q: 3. Does this adapter also work with the 77 spotting scope?

A: This product is merely a "T2" ring that allows you to connect a Leica M-series bayonet mount to a third-party lens with standard T2 thread or some sort of photographic accessory allowing you to attach the lens or accessory to a Leica M camera body. It does not mount to a Leica Televid. Years ago, Leica made an accessory, part # 42301 - SLR Photo Adapter for Leica Televid 77 / 62 that had T2 screw thread at the basal end (allowing mount of any camera body through use of T2 adapter). It replaced the eyepiece and converted the scope to an 800 mm, manual focus, fixed aperture telephoto lens. However these accessories were discontinued when these scopes were discontinued and replaced over a decade ago, so they are generally only found in the used market place. To mount an modern M with "live view" to an old Televid 77 you would need to find the 42301 somewhere AND use this T2 ring between the adapter and the camera body.

A: That adapter is specific for you to attach a Leica M series camera to one of these to spotting scopes, https://bhpho.to/2XWsYTZ And then you will need the eye piece.

Q: 9. Compatible with BlackMagic Teranex 2D analogue audio in/out??

A: The Hosa Technology DBK-258 - DB25-to-XLR AES/EBU Breakout Snake - 16.5' (5 m) 16.5' (5 m) would not work with the DB-25 connector (analog audio in/out) of the Blackmagic Design Teranex 2D Processor. You would need a breakout snake that is purely analog and not AES/EBU.

Q: 10. will this fit a 42x72 scrim jim frame? Not the cine but the older for still photography.

[Metal] First find out if you need the impedance matching feature (many don't). That, being said this little guy is solidly built and reliable. We used it to split our mic out to a recorder and speakers (both had their own mixers).

[6.24 lb] This XLR to BNC impedance transformer worked great for embedding AES/EBU audio into an SDI for a Blackmagic ATEM switcher. I did however purchase the Male XLR version and should have gotten the Female. It will work with a gender adapter with no issue.

[Gray] I've been using this for interfacing my work station software (DP10) with my Yamaha digital mixing board. It works perfectly, made to send and receive aes/ebu and spdif, as well as many channels via AVB. Motu stuff is always well made and works flawlessly.

[6.24 lb] Needed to feed an AES-EBU signal to two inputs - this cable nailed it. Both sources are clocking perfectly, audio is pristine. Saved me the cost of adding more digital IO. Really handy.
