A: I suppose you could - it's pretty bright, although I've never used it for this purpose. The modeling light is an internal LED source, *not* the main strobe lamp, so it's much cooler - I don't think it would damage any modifier any more than an LED panel would.

Q: 2. How many recharge cycles does it take for the batteries to fail. I have heard that they loose approx 50% of their capacity after 50 recharge cycles?

A: Batteries do loose a percentage of their ability to hold a charge after they are cycled. I have not noticed any significant drop so far. These lights are the absolute best that I have used in the last 20 years. What a pleasure to work with.

Q: 3. Can this be used with the B2?

A: B&H has this listed under the recommended accessories for the B2, but Profoto's website says that this fast charger should not be used with the B2. Stick with the regular 2.8A charger for B2 according to Profoto.

A: It's possible, you just gotta set one to optical slave as the sync method and keep the other on an Air Channel.However, the pre-flash for metering TTL will trigger the other strobe, and then it'll be recharging (and unable to fire again) as the camera fires.Keep it simple. Air-sync both, shoot TTL to get a baseline exposure, switch to Manual, the adjust the strobes up or down as needed.
