The Apogee Symphony I/O MkII Pro Tools HD Chassisis an audio interface chassis designed to provide direct connectivity to Pro Tools HD systems for recording and mixing engineers in broadcast, postproduction, studio, and live stage applications. It features a Mini-DigiLink port in the pre-installed HD option card, BNC loop sync I/O, and BNC word clock I/O. A stereo 1/4" headphone jack enables quick and effective monitoring with a variety of headphone impedances.

Emulating an Avid HD I/O interface, it ensures seamless integration and sample-accurate delay compensation while delivering ultralow latency for proper timing in signal conversion. Configure and control the chassis via the color touchscreen display and large rotary control on the front panel. Install multiple I/O cards (available separately) for up to 32 channels of analog inputs and outputs.

The Symphony I/O MkII is made in the USA and ships with a power cable.

[150 W] This case has lots of options inside for different builds and boards. You can turn the sides around to change the vents/glass showing. Every thing has a screen mesh behind all the vent intakes. The small screen is a option that can be bought. 5

[150 W] Big, solid and dependable. Bought it new in 1988, had cold light head, color head for it. Used from 1988-2001. Put it in storage until recently and still works like the day I bought it. Because of the size I gave it away to someone who is just getting into 4x5 film. Very few people are looking for the chassis now, very expensive to ship. Full frame digital has pulled me away from film otherwise I would have found a way to use the enlarger. 5

[24-Bit] I upgraded my Apogee Element 24 to this new Symphony Desktop interface. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the headphone preamp. I don't have a well treated room in my apartment. So mixing with headphone(Sennheiser HD650 is my main workhorse) is my usual practice. Element 24 has a solid HP. But the HP on Symphony Desktop gives me even better details and clearer bottom end on frequency spectrum. Compared to Symphony Desktop, the HP on Element was a bit muddy at the bottom end. The sound stage is also noticeably wider with symphony desktop. For mic preamp, I haven't done any comparison yet. I'll update this post when I have time to do it. 5
