[Manual Focus] This exceeded my expectations. A very sharp lens that makes it easy to get a wide angle shallow DOF. It also works well for video (In my opinion) since it has hard aperture stops and has a smooth yet well friction based focus ring. Also great build quality.

[Nikon Z] It makes my gm5 a pocket camera! Gives me the motivation to practice snapping shots.
The tiny bolt on the side controls the focusing travel (infinite focus can be adjusted). The lens could spin off if this tiny screw is losen.

[Manual Focus] Great balance with the weight and I love the compact size. I bought it on price and size and low light capability. It checks all those boxes. I can't objectively speak to image quality.... But I think it's good.

[35mm] This lens reminds me of a cross between the old Asahi Pentax Super-Takumar lenses and a soft version of the Sigma 40mm f1.4 lens, when used with a short extension tube for close up work. The bokeh and flair make a magic mix in the right light for artistic effect... The center image can be razor sharp at times in these close ups and then drop focus faster than any lens I have worked with. The overall effect is elegant and with beautifully rendered accurate colors. At infinity the softness is high in corners when wide open, as expected. I cannot wait to try some BW portraits wide open. A True artist lens in right hands. Extremely well made. ( I shoot S1R Lumix)

[Full-Frame] If you are a Fuji user this lens is a refreshing surprise. Excellent image quality as well as build quality. Highly recommended fast prime for the XT-3

[Manual Focus] I had not so good luck with two other 7artisans lenses but this one is great!
The Fuji mount fits very tightly, but this is not a show stopper.
The optics are very good and central sharpness wide open is excellent. Corner to corner, it sharpens up extremely well by F5.6. I shoot mostly landscape and in low light wide open it is surprisingly sharp across the frame.
It has a large rear element and I've not noticed much vignetting.
Focus and aperture rings move smoothly. No detents for aperture and I would prefer detents, but again this is not a show stopper.
I haven't seen much Flare, if any.
Bokeh near and far is very nice, no onion rings seen.
This is a low cost fully manual (no electronics) lens, so I don't expect it to be equal to Zeiss Otus lenses, but I have been thrilled with its high performance, definitely punching above its weight optically.

[52 mm (Front)] Very well constructed from metal and slips onto my Leica M. Optics are very good particularly at this price point.

[10] I bought several 7 Artisan lenses - this fits the Lumix G95 far better than the 50mm F.095 for infinity / distance shooting. It is remarkably good glass, solid build and light weight. It is certainly sharp at slightly before F2 and onward. I have found it to be a very useful bit of Kit. The two photos show full frame and then a crop of the Moon - at F 8 - 10. It also has very good color rendition. At the price point it is an incredible buy.
