Q: 1. Can this be used with Nikon flashs?

A: No, it only works with, AirTTL: A1 AirTTL, B10 250 AirTTL, B1X 500 AirTTL, B2 250 AirTTL, D2 500 AirTTL, D2 1000 AirTTL, Pro-10 2400 AirTTL, and B1 500 AirTTL Air without TTL or HSS: D1 Air 250, D1 Air 500, D1 Air 1000, D4 1200 Air, D4 2400 Air, D4 4800 Air, Pro-B4 1000 Air, Pro-8a 1200, and Pro-8a 2400

Q: 2. Curious where this fits in if you already have the Profoto Air remote?

A: This would be an either or. If you have the Air remote you probably would not need one of these remotes. This is designed for worry free nothing to adjust simplicity.

Q: 3. Is this remote compatible with the Sony a7r4?

A: The Profoto Connect Wireless Transmitter is compatible with the Sony a7r4 with firmware upgrade and smartphone

Q: 4. Can I use the connect for Sony to trigger an a1 for canon (OCF)

A: The Sony Connect trigger can be used on a Sony camera. With the Profoto system as long as the remote matches the camera the off camera flash can be a the same or other brand version of Profoto flash and will still work with all TTL and HSS according the remote used.

Q: 5. The Profoto Air Remote TTL-N works with Hasselblad X1D. An this unit as well?

A: The camera needs to be in electronic shutter and wireless mode.

Q: 6. Will this work on the Profoto a1x?

A: Yes the Profoto Connect Transmitter can fire the Profoto A1X.

Q: 7. I don't have an Iphone, can I use the flash without the app, why isn't the app available for android? Not all photographers use apple products!

A: The app is only to control the output of the flash if using it in manual mode. Otherwise, the transmitter will fire a Profoto flash like the A1 if set to auto mode.

Q: 8. Will this work for the original a7, I only see the 2 and 3 listed.

A: Unfortunately it is not compatible with an A7.

Q: 9. Can it be used for two A1 lights or do I need the Air Remote for this?

A: The Connect only has one group. You can fire two lights but they will have the same settings. You will need an AirTTL if you want full control of two lights on separate settings.

Q: 10. How many lights can this transmitter control?

A: The remote has only one group. You could use two lights but they will have the same settings.

[0.575 lb] I use this with a flash bracket and it works! The other trigger doesn't fire with a flash bracket unless you use an extender and bounce everything. This baby works and its easy to fire and go to manual mode. Good thing I have an Iphone or I couldn't adjust the lights from the trigger unless I do it it manually. I do like the ease of no buttons.

[1.5 W] I received this as a bundle with my Profoto A1s Duo Kit. I like this as a complimentary trigger to the AirTTL remote. I plan on using it with my second camera when I shoot weddings. The Connect is super responsive with the B10, A1, and app. Making adjustments is not that difficult. A strength of this trigger happens to be the locking mechanism on the hot shoe. Once you insert it on the hot shoe it has a pin which keeps it secure.

[2.4 to 2.48 GHz] I bought this for use with my two Profoto A1 flashes, which I continue to use and love. I'm not much of a flash photog, but I like to use them for flash fill in our gardens [hummingbirds, insects, and flowers] and for my wife's food images. From Day 1 four years ago, all it has done is just work with my Nikons, and then my Hasselblad X1D, and now my Leica M11, CL, and Q2. I also own the newer Profoto Connect for Leica, but I prefer to use this one overall because it is less obtrusive when shooting, smaller, travel-friendlier, simpler and is USB-C rechargeable [hello Profoto, requiring batteries in the new Pro is not very cool]. And because it just works.

[20 dBm] Exceptionally compact (1.75 dia, 5/8 thick), very light hot shoe mount transmitter, makes off-camera flash amazingly easy. Very easy to use, with only three settings - Auto, Manual of Off. Easy control via iPhone app. I have been using off-camera flash photography since 1980, and it has never been easier. This is a brilliantly conceived and engineered solution, a must have. The bundled offering with an A1x flash is a great value - get one as long as the bundled offer lasts! Highly recommended.

[2.4 to 2.48 GHz] I bought this remote to use with my Profoto B10s. I have had constant issues with my B10s not firing when the light head is close (0-30) to the camera/Air Remote(s). I mostly handhold my light and it's too often in the dead zone and will not fire with either of my two Profoto Air Remote triggers. I'm thrilled to report this new Profoto Connect works 100% of the time no matter how close the B10 head is to the trigger. No frills for sure, but works perfectly for my needs.

[0.8 to 830 Hz] This was a Profoto Connect for the third camera system I own. It works well; I love the small footprint. This specific model rotates a little bit less loosely than my other ones. As result, it is harder to rotate the dial by accident.

[4.75 VDC] I have owned Blizzard lighting in the past and although I don't use their lighting fixtures I DO use their wiCicle Transmitters to connect my lighting software dongle to my lighting fixtures. I have tried many of the cheaper versions available on Amazon and elsewhere only to find out that they don't have a reliable and steady connection to the fixtures. The official Blizzard wiCICLE transmitters seem to communicate better and last longer. Yes they too are made in China but perhaps with some better components. They also made an improvement when changing the color frequency it is now a button rather than having to take a paperclip or bobby pin in the hole. I hope this helps!

[0.8 to 830 Hz] Works astonishingly well straight out of the box. I never need to open the app on my phone for adjustments. I just adjust everything by hand after swapping to manual. The ttl is amazing. I actually use it much more often than I thought I would.
