[4.7 x 4 x 2.8"] Works like a dream! Fast and accurate communication between camera and lens for a fraction of the price!

[4.7 x 4 x 2.8"] Wow great price, blows away my metabones adapter, this actually works great with Sony's Autofocus system(Eye-AF). Tested on Sony ZV-E1 and Sony A7RV, on Canon EF lenses 24-70, the 85mm and the 50mm, very happy with it.

[1/4"-20 Female] Excellent product: I got this specifically to put a Canon 24mm T/S lens to work on a Sony 61MP sensor and it mounts perfectly without play: and properly controls the aperture and transfers EXIF data. The tripod mount base is perfectly conceived: If it were wider, it would impede the mounting of some lenses, or, of the mount to the body. The base is a direct to Arca mount, and with a 1/4 thread to screw in a wider plate if needed to better balance the heavy lens. On a tripod this makes it so easy to rotate the camera or the lens orientation from vertical to horizontal and adjust the planes of focus. Build quality is excellent, like other Viltrox products I have. Very pleased the design is so well thought out and executed.

[1/4"-20 Female] I'm using this to attach a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 l ii lens to my Sony A7SIII, primary use for video. As far as I can tell, it works flawlessly! Setting the auto-focus settings to maximum responsiveness and speed the canon lens zips right to the other subject, so long as the camera knows what it's trying to focus on. I imagine performance would be better if using a Sony GMaster, but I don't feel like the AF capabilities will hold me back from getting profession results at all.

In Photo mode, I did notice that the auto-focus only works when pressing the AF button on my camera (meaning that continuous auto-focus doesn't seem to work there even when there's a face detected) -- Not sure if I have an incorrect setting there (I rarely take photos), so I'm not going to subtract stars. But if you're looking to use this for photos, maybe be prepared to return the adapter.

For video, so far I haven't noticed any issues! Loving the Canon lens and the adapter (and having fun annoying both the Canon and Sony fandoms hehe)

[Canon RF] Picked this up as what I hoped to be the best of the budget EF to E mount lens adapters. So far I've tested it with a handful of lenses and have seen no issues with any of the native Canon lenses I've tried:

24-70mm f/2.8L works great for AF, aperture, and Sony IBIS, as does 16-35mm f/2.8L III. Adapted lenses are more of a lottery - Zeiss Planar 50mm f/1.4 T* on a C/Y mount is great with Focus peaking on the A7RIII, however a Pentax Super Takumar 135mm f/2.5 causes the Sony to frreak out and flash the screen at random when displaying live view (menus display fine. The same adapted lens works perfectly on a Canon 5DSR.


So, for the money I'd say it's good. Native EF lenses seem fine. More than 50% of my adapted lenses seem fine, but there are a few hiccups which are probably par for the course at this price.

[Canon RF] This is the perfect lens for ultra wide angle sunsets/sunrises. Very sharp. The biggest knock on it was that it doesn't have a very short minimum focus distance, but that doesn't matter to me. This lens is very well built and has a nice heft to it on my S5. Feels good to get away from auto focus once in awhile and going back to manual focus. For the price, this lens is wonderful.

[1/4"-20 Female] I haven't seen many reviews about this item so I figured I'd write one and help my fellow photographers. If you're looking for a high quality cheap alternative to the metabones and sigma mount adapters this is the one to get! You can't update software on this like you can with the other 2 but this works so good out of the box that you won't need to. All of my Canon EF and ef-s lenses worked on my Sony a7Riii without issues. Even my extension tubes worked. The autofocus isn't hindered by this adapter either. I tested the auto focus on my Canon rebel SL2 by focusing back and forth between 2 different subjects and then did the same thing with the same lens on my Sony with the 7 artisans adapter and the results were identical. If there was any focus lag with this adapter it was so miniscule that I didn't even notice. It felt exactly the same. I was worried the autofocus wouldn't be as good with the adapter but I was delightfully wrong. This is seriously impressive performance from an item that is literally hundreds of dollars cheaper than it's competitors! This is exactly what I wanted and needed and I couldn't be happier!

[0.535 lb] This adapter is great to adapt manual M mount lenses to Canon R cameras. Your Summicrons and Noktons have a new destination. The helicon allows a much closer focus than the usual 0.7 m limit for these lenses. It is simple and it works.

[Yes] Bought this lens for doing Landscape and star trails. The lens really surprised me with the build quality and butter smooth turning of the focus. The Aperture stops have clicks which I like. I use this lens on my Nikon Z6II. Doing star trails with this lens is simply fantastic. The color rendition of the glass and beautiful star effects on bright lights simply looks great. Great sharpness too. Anyone looking into getting a wide landscape/Astro lens should really consider this lens. I plan on purchasing more lenses from 7artisans. As always, BH Photo service is second to none.

[Canon RF] This adapter not only lets me use Leica-mount lenses on my R6, it changes close focus from 22 inches down to 6 or thereabouts.
