A: Yes, there are holes in the back of the frame that allow the frame to be wall mounted. The power cord will be visible, coming out of the bottom of the back of the frame.

A: I have been able to run it by battery. Out of the box, it only runs when plugged into a wall outlet. That power supply provides 12 volts to the display. I cut that wire and connected it to a 12 volt battery. Worked like a charm. Just make sure that you have the correct polarity.
