[7 x 3.75 x 3"] I was looking to replace an old 28mm wide angle lens, and came across this lens. It is has great features and is quick to focus, although I use manual mostly. I also like that it is faster than my old lens.

[7 x 3.75 x 3"] The lenses fit my X and the light gives my videos just the right amount of lighting. My favorite is the wide-angle.

[0.7 lb] This lens is not going to do phenomenal things as far as shooting landscapes, but if you want something that goes wider and takes in more light, like you would for most gatherings of people, then this lens is perfect!

[0.7 lb] Before buying this lens, I spent some time thinking about what I was missing from my collection of lenses: - 50 mm/f1.8 - kit 18-55mm - 55-250mm My biggest frustration was that I didn't have a lens that could take in more of the shot, but was still prime. I liked walking around with the 50mm lens, b/c it's so small, but i often had to back up to get the shots I wanted. I did some research, and decided that this would be a good lens to try out. I love it! I basically haven't taken it off my camera since I got it. It takes gorgeous photos. The auto-focus noise is a bit annoying when it's quiet, and sometimes the focus lock doesn't work properly (ie: it tried to refocus when i recompose after half-pressing the shutter to lock the focus), but given it's price and the quality of photos, it's way more than worth it. Buy this lens, you won't regret it!

[0.7 lb] I bought this for my 5D. I was concerned about vignetting for some reason. I heard back and forth comments about the lens not filling up a full-frame sensor. But once I got the lens and took shots, no problem. I don't know why Canon would even design a lens that vignettes on a 35mm sensor. Even if it does, it's very marginal. You don't notice it. That was my big concern. But I'm pleased. This lens sells out fast! I was on the mailing list when it came in stock. Within days they were sold out again. For the price. You can't beat it. It's a great focal length for everything. Not too wide. The 35mm would also be ideal but I wanted something with a bit more attitude. If you want to refer wide angle with having attitude. It's better than the 28mm 1.8 And the noisy focusing motoring is neat. Still fast. And I like sound, actually. Get it while it lasts!

[49 mm] The construction quality of this lens seems very high and the images it produces are all that I expected. The lens accessory is very easy to attach using the supplied Allen key and the bayonet mount attachment makes it very quick and easy to remove the lens if you need to. I also like that this combination provides extra protection to the Sony lens including possible scratches and dust. The 62mm threaded front ring allows me to use various filters like UV, ND, Enhancing or a Polarizer. It comes with a nice 62mm lens cap.

[7 x 3.75 x 3"] I wanted a normal view prime lens for my 450d and this 28mm canon lens fits it perfectly. The autofocus is good and I am not bothered at all with the slight noise it makes.

[10x] Just what I was looking for. I hava a 50mm f/1.8 lens and that is a sharp lens, but a little long on a crop camera inside my house. But this 28mm (44mm) on a crop is just right. You can't go wrong with this lens. Buy it you won't be sorry.Reasonable at $, but I would of liked it better at $199.00.
