The SmallRig NP-FW50 Camera Battery Charger has two bays for simultaneous charging. Compatible with Sony Alpha, NEX, and Cyber-shot camera batteries, it can be used to charge the SmallRig NP-FW50 camera battery as well as the original battery. The charger has a built-in USB-A charging cable as well as a USB-C input interface for use with a variety of power supplies. An LCD display gives real-time readings of the charger's current, voltage, capacity, and the battery's charging progress.

A: This charger already comes with the plate for your a6000. The charger is for the NP-FW50 that is the battery that your camera takes. The battery should have just slid into the plate. You align the connections up with the plate. My apologies you were misinformed.

[Simultaneous] This thing charges at a snails pace, but if you're looking for a great travel charger, look no further. It's very light, and you can set two batteries to charge overnight and they'll be done by morning. It's got a built-in USB-A cable and also has an input for an external USB-C cable, so you can power it off pretty much anything. If you want something for home you'd probably want something more powerful, but this is obviously intended for travel, and it does that exceedingly well. The charge rates listed are a bit ambiguous, so I wrote them for clarification. When charging two batteries, the TOTAL charge rate is 1A. So 500mA per battery. This is relevant for comparison to the Watson equivalent, which is (very) slightly more powerful at 1.2A, slightly lighter, but more than double the price. I went with the Smallrig charger because the .2A isn't really going to make a difference since they'll both need to be used overnight. I'm betting they're both good choices, so it just depends on your priorities. 5

[LCD Display] There's only one problem: the packaging artwork! I want the same balloon design that they put on their camera cage boxes (the one with their saying Small Rig, Big Dream) on all of their boxes! What genius marketing; it should be on all of their products. Oh well. The batteries are otherwise typical first-rate, big-rig quality at SmallRig's standard, indie-budget price point. 5

[2] These were an awesome purchase and have a good battery life. I use camera batteries a lot and I often run out of battery power, so this is a great purchase. I would definitely do this again. If you see this, go buy these batteries!! 5

[LCD Display] I originally purchased this just to replace a lost charger, but it has been a great upgrade over my old, stock charger. Not only is it able to charge two batteries at a time, but I find the USB charging to be much more flexible than the standard outlet prongs. I've also enjoyed seeing battery health data that was not previously exposed. 5

[LCD Display] Bought this in a pinch from their NYC store. For the price I didn't have much faith in the batteries but was pleasantly surprised. Didn't last quite as long as a Sony battery but pretty close. The charger is awesome. Has a built in USB A cord or a USB C port. 5
