The Exalux CONNECT+ Wireless Kit 1RUfrom Exalux CONNECT+ Wireless Kit 1RUallows wireless lighting control via an Art-Net compatible app. CONNECT+ is compatible with most DMX apps like BlackOut, DMX Connect+, Luminaire, and more. It makes it possible to control lighting fixtures with an iPad or an Art-Net/sACN console, plus controlling HUE lamps and NYX lamps. It features a high-performance dual-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) MiMo Wi-Fi Access point for reliable and responsive connectivity. Switch the 5 GHz Wi-Fi to use your CONNECT+ with a CRMX transmitter, such as the TX100N, and avoid any interference, or use it if the area is too noisy. It features a mode that makes it possible to automatically select the clearer frequency band.

CONNECT+ makes it possible to manage two DMX universes without adding an additional interface, meeting the needs of the most complex fixtures. It is fully compatible with all DMX applications based on the Art-Net protocol. It can be powered via Ethernet cable using a PoE injector and can power additional DMX devices by connecting them directly via a 5-pin XLR connector.

A: This transmitter is for simple TTL control. You need the app to make any adjustments with this controller.

A: This remote is designed for simplicity. No buttons or settings to fiddle with. Only one group to control automatically. The AirTTL is more capable and full featured.

Q: 4. I don't have an Iphone, can I use the flash without the app, why isn't the app available for android? Not all photographers use apple products!

A: The app is only to control the output of the flash if using it in manual mode. Otherwise, the transmitter will fire a Profoto flash like the A1 if set to auto mode.

Q: 5. Can I use the connect for Sony to trigger an a1 for canon (OCF)

A: The Sony Connect trigger can be used on a Sony camera. With the Profoto system as long as the remote matches the camera the off camera flash can be a the same or other brand version of Profoto flash and will still work with all TTL and HSS according the remote used.

Q: 6. Will this work on the Profoto a1x?

A: Yes the Profoto Connect Transmitter can fire the Profoto A1X.

A: The remote has only one group. You could use two lights but they will have the same settings.

[35] I use this with a flash bracket and it works! The other trigger doesn't fire with a flash bracket unless you use an extender and bounce everything. This baby works and its easy to fire and go to manual mode. Good thing I have an Iphone or I couldn't adjust the lights from the trigger unless I do it it manually. I do like the ease of no buttons. 5

[DMX512] I bought this for use with my two Profoto A1 flashes, which I continue to use and love. I'm not much of a flash photog, but I like to use them for flash fill in our gardens [hummingbirds, insects, and flowers] and for my wife's food images. From Day 1 four years ago, all it has done is just work with my Nikons, and then my Hasselblad X1D, and now my Leica M11, CL, and Q2. I also own the newer Profoto Connect for Leica, but I prefer to use this one overall because it is less obtrusive when shooting, smaller, travel-friendlier, simpler and is USB-C rechargeable [hello Profoto, requiring batteries in the new Pro is not very cool]. And because it just works. 5

[DMX512] I received this as a bundle with my Profoto A1s Duo Kit. I like this as a complimentary trigger to the AirTTL remote. I plan on using it with my second camera when I shoot weddings. The Connect is super responsive with the B10, A1, and app. Making adjustments is not that difficult. A strength of this trigger happens to be the locking mechanism on the hot shoe. Once you insert it on the hot shoe it has a pin which keeps it secure. 5

[12 W] If your workflow is just one Profoto light this is the perfect transmitter. Just pop it on your camera. Turn to Auto and bam, great exposures without any complications. This transmitter can handle multiple lights, but only on one group. If you work with groups of lights, this in not for you. 5

[48 V13 W] If you have several printers, I'm my case the DNP printers, i would highly recommend this module! you can plus up to three printers into it and print wireless!!!! Amazing for the DNP printers and so much easier than trying to plug all printers in to print. 5

[DMX512] If you are doing multi cam broadcast or complex routing this is a great device. I have it routed as the first stop for my inputs it displays the incoming and then reclocks the signal and loops it out to the switcher and I do the same with the outputs as well. The audio waveform display has saved me in troubleshooting many times. This is a great product and functions perfectly. The little screens don't look amazing color wise but thats not what they are for this is a confidence monitor / reclocker. 5
