Q: 2. Will this work with the Ronin (versus the Ronin M)?

A: This unit is designed specifically for the Ronin-M, it will not work with the Ronin. However the Ronin has a 1/4 -20 accessory thread on it, so you could use a product like the Big Balance GA1 Smartphone and Tablet Holder to connect a Smart Device to the Ronin. It comes with a standard 1/4 -20 screw for connecting to tripods and gimbals.

Q: 3. Does this work with an iphone 5, the power buttion is on the top, does the clamp push the power button?

Q: 4. will this work in the aux input on the jvc hm600u?

A: The Polsen MO-PL1 is specifically designed to operate with mobile devices which do have a 3.5mm jack, but the connector is not the same as the input on a camera or portable voice recorder. Unfortunately this mic is not compatible with your camera.

Q: 5. When using the Polsen HPC-A30 Closed Back Headphones the person I was interviewing was distracted by hearing the noise coming from the headset. Has anyone else noticed extra background noise from the headset? I know you will hear the sound when you are wearing the headset but it seemed really loud and I'm not sure why.

Q: 9. Using the camera on a new iPad to record video, is there any way to make sure the audio is recording? I need to record a 30 minute interview and want to make sure I'm getting good audio. Will the headphone let me hear what is being recorded, or is there any other way to monitor the audio signal?

A: Yes it will. There are two microphone inputs as well as a headphone output for monitoring through headphones with that Rode adapter that comes in the kit.

Q: 10. Any special mob. application needed to record with two mikes?

A: No, plugs in but you don't have the ability to mix the two.

[Wood] Had this in my car. Everyone loves it so I bought for others. So handy stick the mount to your dash and the other magnet on the back of your phone. Does not come loose. Very tight magnetic hold. Phone is where I can see it and it doesn't slide around or fall to the floor. Love it 5

[Wood] tried it in 2 vehicles, worked as advertised. Phone stays secure, never has fallen. Being in an air vent keeps the iphone screen from dimming due to overheat and easy to see it when using Waze. 5

[0.165 lb] I was always skeptical of magnetic mounts and passed several deals on Woot or other sites. I chanced upon a demo setup in the store and was very impressed with the hold. Bought one and installed it in my car. The base with the magnet attaches via sticky tape to the car. The magnet part is a ball/socket contraption in the base and can be held in a suitable angle by tightening a plastic nut. A metal plate goes on the phone. The metal plate can be inserted between the phone and case, or directly glued to the phone (plate has a sticky side). My purchase came with two plates a small the size of a quarter and a larger one the size of a credit card. I used the larger one on my iPhone 6 plus. I just put it in between the phone and case. The magnet is strong enough to hold my iPhone 6 plus at highway speeds. I have even run my car on rough spots on the streets to see if it would fall off. So far so good. I am yet to see how well the glue on the base holds up when summer comes along. One of the best uses I put this mount was attending a meeting, the kind of meeting where you have to dial in to listen and occasionally say a few words. I stuck my phone in landscape mode with gotomeeting running on it with audio streaming into my bluetooth headset. 5

[Wood] I don't think it's just me, but working with untrained 'talent' can be tough. I'm constantly instructing people to not stand against the backdrop like it's a mug shot. With these super obvious markers I can point to it and they know what to do. And that's less tape to pull when we wrap. 5

[0.165 lb] This is the best iPhone mount in the market. When not in use it disappears so no ugly brackets here. The magnet and rubber cover work so well that I can actually throw my iPhone 6 and it always catches it. 5

[0.165 lb] I did a lot of research before I settled on trying the Scosche and it's perfect. It's a very small footprint, I can place the magnet between the phone and case (no scratching, no eyesore, no bulge), and it stays put even with the smaller magnet. �I'm getting a second one for the rental cars when I travel, and it won't take any room in my work bag. 5
