The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices, including access points, switches, and routers. It provides 100% centralized cloud management and creates a highly scalable network controlled from a single interface.

Integrated technologies optimize performance while significantly reducing Wi-Fi interference by automatically adjusting the channel settings and transmission power levels of neighboring APs in the same network.

Intelligent self-organization optimizes the best path between EAPs while self-healing ensures you stay online even when one AP is disrupted.

Enjoy uninterrupted streaming when moving around by switching clients automatically to the access points with the optimal signal.

[10 to 90%] Quality and performance at a great price. These units outperform the big boys at a far better price. I installed 4 of these to provide Wi-Fi at our hotel. We can have all guests connected and streaming, with no complaints.

[5 to 90%] First of all the shipping was super fast and free! The EAP610 is easy to setup if your network switches are POE there’s no need to use the supplied power adapter . I purchased a total of five units. (EAP610) and I was able to connect four of them without the need of the power supply, one of my ethernet cables was coming from a non-POE switch, so I easily installed it with the supplied power supply. All the instructions for set up are easy to read and understand. The equipment has perform flawlessly and without any issues so far.

[Wall, Ceiling] I'm using this access point to cover a one bedroom apartment, about 700sqft or so. I have both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz networks under the same SSID, and all devices are using 5Ghz as expected. This means bandsteering is working well. No problems with around 10 devices in a small home.

With a fiber internet connection, I get these real-world speeds on an iPhone 12:

- 600-700mbps within line of sight in the same room.
- 500-600mbps on the other side of the wall.
- 400-500mbps everywhere else, such as through kitchen appliances and a wall, or through two walls and glass shower door.

Upload speed in these tests is approx 100mbps slower than download in every category. (e.g. if I'm getting 700mbps download, upload is around 600. If my download is 450, upload is 350.)

I have two minor cons:
- The configuration in the app without a controller is very minimal. Thankfully, I don't need it, but expect to install a controller if you need advanced features. In the iOS app using it as a standalone AP, you can only configure some basic radio power/channel settings, along with SSID.
- It gets relatively hot in use. This is normal for network gear so it's not problematic, but worth mentioning.

I have no issues using this for a small household with multiple devices at the same time. Great performance, no drops. Highly recommended!

[4 to 5 dBi] Took out my wifi router, (don't use the service-supplied internal, didn't really need the extra router, and it was ancient-old) and replaced it with this. I'm using it @ home.

We just added 2 new units, equipped with WiFi 6e. Wow - you can't tell if it's plugged into the ethernet cable or WiFi. Once set up, it does a great job & is fully configurable (with the separate controller). MAC Filtering, latest security modes, all work well. Coverage (inside, 2nd floor, pointed down) gives huge full-house, plus full-yard coverage.

Pleased with the change.

[12 VDC at 1 A] I had an older model but the speed was constrained so I opted for this one. TP Link products are always easy to install so that was a breeze, the speed is great.

[Internal] Arrived fast and works just the same. Oddly, my controller was saying it was V3 which I didn't think was a thing but oh well. It works.

[16] I bought 1 for each of my 4 bedrooms expecting to cover the basement, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of my 23' wide rowhome with a hope to get signal in the garage. When setting them up, the first AP that i plugged into the router in the back of the basment gave great signal to the bedroom on the 3rd floor at the front of the house. I was thinking that i may need another AP or even an outdoor AP to get good coverage in my yard and detatched garage, but i am getting excellent signal stregth all over from the 4 AP's. These fit perfectly in place of my ethernet wallplates, you can turn off the annoying LED light for a bedroom placement, and the 3 extra ports are a great way for my to keep some devices still hard wired. In each of the rooms. I used an omada hardware controller, vpn router, and poe switch with these and the devices all work great together. This all might be twice as much as a 3 AP consumer grade mesh wifi, but is considerably better than the eero system that i was using.

[Access Point] Never ran the stock software. I flashed it to OpenWRT the moment I got it. A great wifi access point so far. It has been handling the extremely noisy RF environment quite well (dense apartment complex - I can see over 150 WiFi APs from my apartment).

[5 to 90%] I get a great 5ghz signal in every room of my 2,000 SF home as this is mounted in the center of the house. 2.4ghz is also great and that's even after I have dialed down the output power of that band. It is very much appreciated that the power adapter is included since I do not have PoE equipment.
