[540 uA @ 9 VDC] I'm a Zoom fan from way back. This new offering from Zoom is very user friendly and intuitive. The lcd display is large and very easy to navigate. That fact that it also houses a looper and a rhythm section with multiple drum beats is an added bonus. And then of course is the most important thing - it sounds great. I'm extremely happy with it. [2.4 lb] I needed something for my living room and practicing while watching TV late at night without a full pedal board or multi-effects box. This along with a Boss RC-3 and a mini mixer for my wireless headphones provides everything I have in my studio at a mini level. The sounds are good enough. There are enough options in sound to play most anything. Eventually I'll try this little beast as a sub for my full pedal board and see how it works in a live jam. One pedal to do everything. It's not perfect but it is great. I wish Zoom would provide updates to it and a better manager. It's pretty old by today's standards and if Zoom provided updated files they would sell even more if these great little boxes.

[2.4 lb] Impressive right out of the box. The possible combinations effects, amps, synths, etc... make this Boss a virtual limitless fountain of sound.

[2.4 lb] So far I have been very pleased with this unit. It is well built and easy to use. Plenty of effects and modeling choices with many more online for download. The power adapter that comes with it is not very sturdy. I ordered a backup just in case.

[2.4 lb] The AC30 is great for practicing when others want to sleep. It's very compact and fits in the accessories compartment in my guitar case. Tone is good (not great), and certainly acceptable for practicing. Given its small size, I don't think anyone can expect killer tone. I find the effects (Chorus, Delay, Reverb) a bit cheesy and don't use them. The volume is sufficient with headphones. I've used it with Sennheiser Momentums (18 ohm) and AKG K240 MkII (55 ohm). I've also tried it with a JBL Charge. I had to crank the Charge to full volume for the sound to fill a small room. But hey ... that makes for a very portable amp solution.

[2.4 lb] After working my way through various competing processors (including other Boss and Roland products) that offered similar capabilities I had pretty much given up on finding one that suited my needs. The GT-1's combination of preset factory sounds, their ease of tweakability, variety of effects and ease of their tweakability offers a player a massive selection of tools to work with. Controls are easy to use and logical in how they are set up. Couldn't be more pleased.

[540 uA @ 9 VDC] This thing rocks out on earbuds, portable speakers, and a 4x12 cab. It's very boomy on an amps so the tone needs adjusting. Careful with the volume hooked to an amp as well, a little is a lot. The aux in audio is so useful for playing along with songs or a metronome with the volume being independent for fine tuning what you want to hear more of. I would recommend this, it sounds just as good as an amp modeler fro what it does.
