A: You are not able to daisychain this monitor with any other monitors. In order to daisychain, you will need video outputs or Thunderbolt3 connection. Neither the CG 279X nor the CG 2420 has video output.

Q: 5. Can the CG2420 be used with a mid 2017 MacBook Pro which only has usb-c/thunderbolt 3 connections?

A: Yes. You need an adapter. Works great with my late 2016 macbook pro.

A: Cg2420 come with a hood and a calibrator.The Cx2420 come with a EX3 Calibration Sensor.

A: you will need ports on computer for HDMI, USB, DisplayPort looked like a real mess on my 2013 iMac so i used my Mac Mini, works like a champ, amazing results with the Epson P600 or P800 printer (close to perfect match)You will aso need 3 chunks of software, all free, one from epson was only obtainable from a Epson European site, local snarky service people will tell you there is no such thing ...

[24.1" Monitor] This monitor is a joy to use. Color rendition is accurate and easy to calibrate, and the form factor is elegant and minimalistic. 5

[24.1" Monitor] Setup right out of the box was pretty simple. Written directions are minimal so if your hardware skills are not THERE you could have a problem. About every possible cable you could need for connection to a computer are supplied, except as usual for Apple Mac equipment you need a different one. I think either BH or Eizo should gives you a heads up on that fact. I wasted a week with a HDMI connection until the proper cord came in from BH. The color is stunning and first print came off the printer looking just like the screen. Always wanted a EIZO, finally sprung for the $$$$$; glad I did. 5

[Latch] While I did have an issue with a Mac mini with an M1 chip, that was quickly resolved with a call to Eizo tech support. I am a longtime Eizo user--probably 13 or 14 years. The monitors just work. I run the auto calibration, and when I print after soft proofing, I always get what I saw on the screen. Yes, they are more expensive than other brands, but I am willing to pay the price to avoid wasting paper and ink while having an easy time setting the monitor up. As compared to older Eizo monitors, this monitor is lighter and more sleek. The on/off button works better-it seems to sense your finger without the need to push anything and the menu system is easier to work with. 5

[24.1" Monitor] B&H notified me when the monitor was back in stock. I ordered it soon after the notification, and B&H's fast shipping got it to me faster than I expected. The monitor arrived in good shape. Set-up and running the calibration was easy. Color accuracy seems right on the mark, and getting great color in my prints has never been easier. So far it is looking like this monitor is a great value, and will pay for itself in time and materials savings. I'm glad I bought it, and glad I bought it from B&H. 5

[24.1" Monitor] I owned a smaller EIZO for 11 years it started to loose its ability to stay calibrated. I grabbed this one and wow. It is bigger way brighter. It calibrates itself, which is really nice. I will never buy any other brand for photo editing. I print in house so the screen has match my printer. Thanks B&H for being so professional with delivery. 5
