Q: 1. Is this grip waterproofed comparing to Sony rx0 ii?

A: No this is not waterproof

Q: 2. Do i need to change any setting on the camera? i just got mine, plugged it in but nothing works from the grip

A: It works for me on my RX100 VI plug and play. No setup needed. Which model of RX100 you have? Out of curiosity.

Q: 3. works with a7sm2 ?

Q: 4. can take pictures with bulb?

A: Yes you can.

Q: 5. Can I use this with the sony 7rii?

A: No, you cannot. The VCT-SGR1 Shooting Grip is designed for use with specific models of Sony's smaller Cyber-Shot point-and-shoot digital cameras, and is not compatible for use with the Sony Alpha a7R II Mirrorless Digital Camera. The Sony GP-VPT1 Shooting Grip with Mini Tripod, B&H # SOGPVPT1, would be an alternative that would work for your usage needs with the Sony Alpha a7R II Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Q: 6. Can the buttons be customized by the RX100vii? Example, set the shutter button to turn Auto Focus on and off?

A: No, they are all preset by Sony.

Q: 8. Will this work with the DSC-HX80?

A: Hello Ted, yes this accessory is compatible with your HX80.

Q: 9. Are this disc compatible with ink jet printers?

A: Yes, it is.

Q: 10. How is this different from the Sony GP-VPT1?

A: The VCT-SGR1 is a little smaller as a grip and the top mount is smaller as well. All this makes the VCT-SGR1 more appropriate for the compact cameras such as the Sony RX100-Series and RX0. The Sony GP-VPT1 is still good for larger cameras and camcorders.

[White] I knew that real thermal imagers were not cheap, but I am very pleased with this one's performance for the price. With only a 256-res chip, I wasn't expecting a lot of detail, but I could easily recognize deer 200 yards away, and a rabbit at 80 yards. The sensitivity is very good as well: I can see my dog's footprints in the grass for almost a minute, and the water levels in my opaque water barrels are obvious.

[White] I been very pleased with my Agm 25-384. My prior experience was with night vision and thermal of course is a great step up! I is it for hog hunting. Zeroing was very simple. I shot pig at 87 yards on the first night out. Love the ease at which it connects to my phone. Plus, i got the free AGM monocular deal!

[White] I was so afraid it would just be an updated Leupold Tracker (handheld I have and only other experience I have) This is much more than that. Only tested to around 80 yards, but to there can easily identify and target rabbits and raccoons even though I was hunting hogs. The zoom seems pretty worthless though. If you're unsure, watch videos of it, they're honestly what it looks like, works great. For sighting in, the tinfoil around a square of cardboard works great. The one shot sight in is amazing, Im sure all digital scopes do it.

[White] After trying a few in this range I would say this thermal performs comparably above its price point. I am impressed with the image quality and features. The on board reachable battery system is a welcome improvement for this line.

[White] When I made up mind mind to buy one of these they were all out of stock. I called AGM and they told me B&H was a good place to back order so I did. It came in 3 weeks early. Thanks B&H. On to the item. I bought this as a companion piece to a Sightmark Wraith which is a digital scope. In brush or trees digitals are pretty much blinded by the IR glare. This unit is not. It will not see through things so don't expect that. I've played with this daily for 3 weeks or so and I'm not a technology person so here's what I've found. Detection range on cows and deer is about 500 yds. Recognition range on deer is about 250 +/-. I wear trifocals. Your mileage may vary. Small animals require some knowledge of what you're looking at. At 40/60 yds a crouching rabbit looks very similar to a cat or to an owl that has just caught a mouse. A fox can be hard to tell from a raccoon at times. BUT, you will know they're there. Humans and dogs are very recognizable at 150+ yds. Good security device. Features: the buttons are for bare fingers only - the color palettes are nice because light and temperature sometimes require them - the screen rotates, I don't know why but there it is - it will refresh ( screen freeze ) from time to time. The nature of the beast from what I understand. - the screen is not Leupold clear and the magnification is not useful because it gets to pixelated but that is normal for entry level devices - I haven't played with the camera. Read the instructions. - a good little unit at this price point.

[White] While there are many other more expensive units with higher resolution on market, this unit is just what you need to locate and identify game. It will identify game for very far away and depending on the size of the game, you can differentiate deer from hogs at distances of 100 yards or more. I was able to identify wild hogs and deer in swamps, fields and woods very easily. When you turn it on you may think the resolution is not sufficient, but the game show up very well, as well as people. For the price, its hard to beat.
