The Lynx Technik AG yellobrik Analog Sync/Video Fiber Optic Receiver provides two analog outputs and supports multi-mode LC fiber connection. This NTSC/PAL composite video to fiber optic receiver is a compact device. It is specifically designed to combat the restrictions involved with the distribution of broadcast-quality analog reference and composite video signals over a long distance. Pairing of this receiver with the OTX 1712 Fiber Optic Transmitter gives a transmission system for analog sync reference signals or NTSC/PAL composite video signals. This device is useful for reference sync distribution between remote installations to maintain correct synchronization.

The ORX 1702 Receiver has the technology to maintain a high degree of sync and burst phase stability during fiber reception and analog conversion. It receives SDI signals (including reference and other relevant information) before they are converted to analog signals. Therefore, when this receiver is used for 525 or 625 SDI video sources, it is possible to convert the signals to an analog NTSC or PAL composite output directly.

Q: 4. Will this card work with the AJA OG-X-FR frame ?

A: Yes it should. This is an OpenGear Card, meant to go in other OpenGear Frames. This card should work in that OpenGear Frame from AJA.

Q: 5. Can I run this through a network patch panel in order to use existing wiring in walls? What is the length of the cat5/6 limit?

A: Ideally, you want to connect the Cat5/6 directly to the units to achieve a run that can send a stereo signal up to 1000 ft.

Q: 6. Will this transmit the HDMI/SDI record trigger wirelessly to a monitor/recorder? For example, if I have an Atomos Sumo and my camera sends the sdi/hdmi record signal, will the Mars 4K pass that signal through and trigger record on the Sumo?

A: The Hollyland Mars 4K Wireless Video Transmission System does not support HDMI/SDI triggering. The kit will simply pass video wirelessly to the Atomos Sumo.

Q: 7. Will this receiver work with the Rhonin 4D's TX2 Video Transmitter module, complete with audio?

A: Only the DJI Ronin 4D Video Transmitter can be used with the DJI High-Bright Remote Monitor.

Q: 8. Does this TX/RX SFP module fits in Black Magic Optical Fiber Mini Converters?

Q: 9. Does it come with the BNC connectors at the back of the OpenGear 3.0 frame?

A: The Rear Input/Output Analog Video Module does not come with this DA. We do however have it available for a separate purchase on our website.

[ (3.5 W)] We have used this product many times for sending the DVI signal 700+ feet from the computer. No problems at all. Just attach them and they work. 5

[2x BNC (3G-SDI)] It worked just as described. Did contemplate going with one of the other, cheaper options available, but, one, they would only work on Windows, and, two, didn't get a warm and fuzzy about how well they would run and how good the support would be. 5

[ (3.5 W)] Upgrade my old L22 that is still perfect. I was a little sceptical but the E22 definitely an upgrade in sound quality over the L22.the L22 was already an good card but this one is better and being PCIe will make it compatible to futur mb upgrade. The only thing I find strange is I get better / worst results in sq and volume depending on the slot used. Waiting for Lynx feedback on that one. About b&h, nothing but good things to say, easy and fast transaction. Took less than 48 hours to get in Canada. 5

[2x BNC (3G-SDI)] I don’t like to take time to write reviews but this device and software took away all my frustration and wasted time. I tried several different ways to digitize my VHS and DV camera videos. Burn to DVD and copy to hard drive took forever. Connecting Firewire1 to FW2 on an external hard drive which had FW3 that could connect to an older Mac was pricey but worked. But then I used iMovie and Final Cut to import and I would have 100 files as small as 1 sec. for no reason and editing was a nightmare. The Elgato is USB and Super VHS just worked. It would make separate files for each date (I think that’s correct). Nevertheless the breaks were appropriate to changing scenes. It even connects to a thermal imaging monocular and records the video. This review is about 3-4 years overdue. 5

[1x LC (Fiber)] Very pleased with how the Elgato USB Analog Video Capture Device works. Have been effortlessly converting old VHS tapes and even some old Beta tapes from the 80's. Had a little trouble with the initial set up but a call to Elgato's service line put me through quickly to a very helpful technician who walked me through the process in a few minutes. 5

[ (3.5 W)] Got this card over holidays and transferred bunch of mini DVDs from DVDCam and worked flawlessly. After upgrading my MacOS, app started crashing but legato support quickly released beta version and also updated their website support info which was very easy to find and fix. Thank you Elgato. 5

[1.4 lb] I had a little bit of trouble getting everything to come together. Old tapes, old VCR, older computer. But once it meshed I was flabbergasted. I have over 100 tapes that need transferring. Wish me luck. I have tried other options ,but the Elgato lets me tape without stopping and put them on my PC. Love it so far. 5

[780 nm] I have tons of VCR tapes and camcorder tapes. This device is amazing. Lets you stop and start recording. Trim, etc. Grest economical option over a vendor conversion service provider. DIY!! 5

[ (3.5 W)] Plugged it in and it worked with no adjustments or configuration necessary. Long connection with fiber looks exactly like short connection with DVI cable. I'm running a 1920 x 1200 monitor at 60 Hz. 5
