Q: 8. My Pocket Cam tends to get fairly hot when using this plate and 3rd party v-mount battery. Does the IndyPRO BMPCC V-mount plate regulate voltage from the battery?

A: I let my BMPCC run for an hour on the IndiPro battery and plate to test it. Sure it was really hot to the touch but it didn't shutdown. I don't think its a problem.BUT if you're worried about the battery and plate being unregulated and could potentially damage the camera, unfortunately, I wouldn't know about that.

Q: 9. Is the height adjustable? And if so what is the range?

A: Yes, you can raise and lower the support of the Tilta 15mm LWS Support for Mirage Matte Box (B&H# TIMBT16LS) by about 1/2" (or about 1.25cm).

[0.565 lb] I upgraded to this because on my Smallrig one, the column was so long that I frequently couldn't set the camera flat when it was attached. This one fixed that for me and feels a lot more substantial as well. My only issue is the 1/4 20 adapter. It tends to get stuck to the lens instead of staying on the support. Not a big deal, but it also is perfectly cylindrical, with no flat edges, so it's difficult to remove. I usually have to wrap a rubber band around it to get a grip on it. 5

[0.565 lb] This is a great 19mm and 15mm Rod plate. Solid, good built, great design. There's only one catch to think of. If you look at all other 15/19 rod accessories, you will see the 15mm holes slightly adjusted higher so they are on the same height as the 19mm holes. The Cavision has the 15 and 19 holes aligned right down the center. It's not a problem for my setup, but it is something to think about. 5
