Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. those two 3/8 screws are removable, yes? I would want to use two 1/4 screws on the base. Thanks

A: The screws are removable. If you look at the slot the screws are in, you can see the opening where they can be removed.

Q: 2. Can this fit a Sony ZV-E10?

A: The Sony ZV-E10 Mirrorless Camera body will fit in the Long Weekend Camera Pouch (Creme Multi), but the case is too small to accommodate the Sony ZV-E10 with a lens attached.

Q: 3. Would a D-Lux 8 fit in this sling?

A: Yes the D-Lux 8 will fit in the Long Weekend Monterey Sling.

Q: 4. Would this fit a Pentax 17?

A: Yes, the Long Weekend Camera Pouch will fit the Pentax 17 camera.

Q: 5. Would this fit the Fujifilm X-T30 II?

A: The Long Weekend Monterey Sling (Black) will not fit the XT30 camera.

Q: 6. If the camera can only shoot 144 frames per roll, does that mean for each 6 seconds (standard 24fps) video, we have to switch a new roll?

A: The film is actually around 4-6 fps max. It's hand cranked so there's no way you get 24fps. A film roll actually gives about 30 seconds of film. Think of it more like an old silent movie type rate. I got an 8 scecond sequence from 22 frames as an example.

Q: 7. does it produce sound?

A: The camera is crank 35mm moving film camera. It does not record sound. If you are referring to the sound the camera might make while recording, it is very minimal.

Q: 8. Does it fit a Leica q2?

A: Unfortunately the Long Weekend Monterey Sling (Black) is too small and won't fit the Leica Q2.

Q: 9. Can you develop this film in a dark room?

A: This camera uses standard 35mm film. You can use any standard color or black and white film and develop it in an appropriate dark room.

Q: 10. I recently bought this and the film is struggling to go around properly without tearing and the lever doesn't turn as using the camera. Please help?

A: Hey, I was there before. I don't think we need to attach the film much on the lever. I would say just a little bit. You might feel it's gonna loose at any minute. Give it a shot. Good luck!

[31mm] I have been looking for a practical tote bag for a while. Most tote bag is just a bag where you dump all your stuff in. Not huge fan of doing that since everything will just be tossed around in the bag. However Long Weekend Beacon Tote was exactly what I wanted. It has so many compartment I can organize my things easily. Perfect when I go out and do some street photog.

[Standard 35mm] I bought this to hold my Contax T2 on a regular basis. So far, I'm a fan of the build quality and the spacious interior that isn't too big and isn't too small. I love the belt clips and the added weatherproofing is a fun and useful little bit.

[f/9 ] Bought one for my Alexa Classic to handle the weight of that camera - also the Arca compatibility was a major factor. Great piece of hardware.

[31mm] Sure, you can just as easily do this with a cheap plastic bag. When I'm taking film with me on flights, I like to easily pull out a bag and hand it to airport security. I've traveled to 15 different airports this year and it was hit and miss with the scanners. I found that most of the time security was happy to just hand scan my film.

I wanted a bag that would better sit in my camera bag pocket and sit less like a folder. This pouch sits in my camera bag like a lens would. I like that there is dividers so I can have one side for used film and another for new film (or divide it by BW or colored film).

It says for 5 rolls of film but that's if it's in the box still. I filled it up to 14 rolls with just plastic canisters using the whole interior.

The material is light and has a zip closure. I'm really happy with how it helps organize my setup. I'm okay with the price since it's something I know will last. I have sometimes purchased little organizers and hold on and use them for years to come. This will be forever in my kit.

[31mm] I bought this bag through the used department of b&h photo.

I wear this pack every day and I love it.

After 3 months of use, a small piece of plastic has chipped off from the male portion of the buckle. It's still fully functional so nothing major.

I keep my wallet and coin purse in the front zippered pocket, my airpods live in the velcro pouch, and then a mix of keys, spare camera batteries, charging cables, pen, lighter, wireless pack, micro fiber cloth, ear plugs, pocket knife, and an allen wrench are all held in the main pocket with room for me to hold a spare lens when frequent lens swaps are in my future. It's great for holding all the little things you need access to at a moment's notice.

I highly recommend this bag.

If I could change one thing about its design, it would be to make the bag slightly wider and incorporate a small pocket, on both sides and sized to hold a roll of film, where the bag and belt portions meet. Hopefully, that makes sense! This alteration would make it the perfect bag in my eyes.

[0.635 lb] After purchasing a Pentax 17 camera, I was doing some comparing of pouches that would be the right size. The first one was too small for anything other than the camera. The Long Weekend allows you to useit for the camera and also leaves just enough space for an extra battery. Another P&S that I have had for a while had a small pouch too, but now has enough space in an additional Long Weekend pouch for it, the charger, an SD card pouch and 2 extra batteries. Being a bicyclist, these cameras will both see some trail usage. The new Watson batteries for the Sony also fit in the pouch, with just enough space for two.
