This SmallHD OLED 27" Monitor Case by Jason Cases (Blue)from Jason Cases, allows you to carry your SmallHD OLED 27" 4K monitor with attached feet, C-stand mount, and monitor handle as well as cables in a case that is portable and secure. Space for an optional acrylic screen protector allows you to expand your setup without needing to buy a new case. The laser-cut foam supports your gear, while the blue overlay protects the foam and provides finger wells that help you insert and remove the monitor without wearing out the foam on the edge. The SKB 3i-3019-12 case features built-in wheels.

A: The SmallHD OLED 27" 4K Production and Grading Monitor does not have the ability to self-calibrate the display, so calibration tools must be purchased. Q: 2. Does it work when filming in 4K with the FS7 mk2 ?

A: The FS7 Mark II sends out a RAW 4K signal through SDI, which this monitor will not be able to process. You should however be able to film 4K internally and output HD through SDI for this monitor to see.

Q: 3. Is this monitor bright enough for outdoor use in direct sunlight?

A: yes.

Q: 4. does this work with Sony A7Riii?

A: It does not, this monitor offers an SDI input only.

Q: 5. Does the shoe mount on the monitor side hand allow electornic signal?(can I use it to mount my flash or my sony mic that must be connected to my a7s II shoe mount(the mic doesnt have any cable, it only connect through the on camera shoe mount).

A: No its does not. It is just s mounting point. For external mics, flashes or any other accessory that doesnt require electronic signal. So unfortunately if you need to use a flash you would probably wanna get a cage or something so you can attach the monitor and the flash.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with the Sony a6300?

A: Yes. I use it with the Sony A6500

Q: 7. Is the battery slot external or mounted on the monitor?

A: This monitor has an integrated battery plate for Sony L style batteries.

Q: 8. Can I use this item as a viewing monitor for Blackmagic Ursa Mini 4K?

A: Yes you can. The Ursa Mini 4K has an SDI output which you can connect to this monitor.

Q: 9. Is it at all usable during the day outside, or should one go with the LCD version?

Q: 10. Is this monitor compatible with UHD at 25p ? Becouse in technical paper it says Supports UHD-1 4K at 30/29.97 @ RGB 444 8bit, YCC 444 8bit, YCC 422 12 bit & 24/23.98 @ RGB 444 10/8 bit, YCC 444 10/8bit, YCC 422 12 bit, YCC 4:2:2, 8/10/12 bit color in RGB & YCC 4:4:4 , but not 25p (the european frequency)

A: According to SmallHD it does not. For UHD the only frame rates listed are 30, 29.97, 24 and 23.98. However it does accept PAL frame rates in HD frame rates and in general cameras that shoot UHD are able to output HD only even while shooting UHD. You will still be able to us this monitor with PAL cameras.

[Precut Foam] I just purchased 2 Black Magic URSA Studio cameras and knew the challenge to have one case include cameras, accessories and add extra studio viewfinder was going to be a challenge. Jason Cases was the best choice due to it's well-designed cases, and size. And the extra cutouts allowing for miscellaneous equipment was the icing on the cake! Well Done! 5

[Yes] This case is a pretty big case, let me start off with that, but you already own a pretty big monitor so what did you expect?�� It seems very solid like all Pelican cases.� I trust the build quality will last for many years.� Plenty of room under the monitor for several accessories.� I have two 25' SDI cables coiled up under the monitor in the middle and there is room for more.� This case will not hold the 2403 desk stand, that just won't fit without cutting some of the foam.� The foam seems quite high quality, and I would recommend this case to anyone looking to fly with gear. 5
