Add a cinema zoom lens to your documentary, broadcast, or online production kit with this black DZOFilm Catta Ace FF 18-35mm T2.9 Cine Zoom Lens PL/EFfrom DZOFilm. The cine lens is designed to maintain focus as you smoothly zoom in or out, and the Catta full-frame line reproduces accurate color and features a smooth focus/defocus transition. It features a wide T2.9 to T22 aperture, a 16-blade iris for a smooth bokeh, and a long 20.1" close focus range.

True to its cine design, it has a focus rotation of 270°, a 100° zoom rotation range, and a 77° iris rotation range. The lens features a PL mount, and it can be easily interchanged with an optional E mount and the included EF mount bayonet. Multiple accessories are included with the lens, including front and rear lens caps, a shim set, a support base, and a support rod.

[T22] As my first-choise zoom lens for s35 was often the Allura 18-80, I was looking for something lightweight and versatile to own. This pair of zooms cover my favorite focal lengths and their weight is comparable to Allura. But these lenses cover full frame, so whe I upgrade to an FF camera it still will be up to date! They come in a Peli case, that exceeded my expectations. 5

[1.9x] I've been looking at these lenses for over a year now, and finally being able to get my hands on one has brought such a next level image to my projects. I've only used it on a couple projects so far, but I think it's great. The parafocal ability is so great, and the lens' rings and gears are so smooth. The focal distance ring seems to have a little more resistance when moving it, but it's not a hinderance to its use. When focusing in or out, the focus breathing seems to be nonexistent and is sooooo smooth. Specifically with the image that you get out of this lens, I think it has a wonderful amount of character/softness to the amount of sharpness. One reason I've moved over to cinema lenses is that they're not as clinical or sharp as my photography lenses, and they give my video a much more personal look and feel. But when it comes to some commercial work, my original cine lenses can be a bit too soft at a T 2.0. But this Laowa Ranger gives me the right amount of sharpness and character to use on just about any project, and having this in my daily camera rig just eliminates the hassle of switching out lenses to get the look I'm going for. I know this review isn't very technical, but if you're a first time buyer of cinema zoom lenses, this is an incredible place to start and you won't regret it. 5

[16] I already own a nice 24mm 1.4 so this lens has got some heavy lifting to do to raise my interest. And it has done just that. Now it would be unfair to say it is light years ahead of the Nikon 24mm 1.4G ED lens that I have been using. Truth is.....it just does it ALL very well. Well resolved without being scratchy sharp. Holds the corners well. No CA that I can find and creamy (almost misty) background to help throw that focused subject right in your lap. Honest colors and built like a bloody TANK!!!. So yeah.... a worthy contender at around half the price of the other lenses it beating. You won't be disappointed. Rocks well on my RS3 Pro Gimbal too. Thank you B&H for overnighting it to my shoot and making Christmas happen in August :0) 5

[Full Frame] Got these on an awesome temporary deal for just over $6k. Great quality for the price. Clean and sharp look. Including the bayonets system provides options for other mounting which is also awesome. While I don’t like to mess with the screws and shims too much, at least the options are there as far as owning the lenses for potentially different camera systems use. Overall pretty happy. 5
