To provide that at least 2.0 Amp USB power source has to be used for the adapter cable. Usually computer USB ports are limited to 1.o Amp. The power banks and USB power supplies if not specified are usually providing 1.0 Amp outputs. You need to used power source with SPECIFIED 2.0 Amp output from reliable manufacturer for adapter to function properly.
