[0.115 lb] This kit is compact and simple. It doesn't come with, or need, a lot of extraneous components or parts. But it has everything you need, truly. And after the simple setup, using it is just as easy, and satisfying. I don't know why I waited so long!

Very easy to set up I would suggest using additional lighting and you may need to read the directions thoroughly they give you many good tips about photo quality.

[0.115 lb] This review listed in here by the other person who claims the light has issues, was clearly neglecting the light badly and had no idea how to use it. These are tough, well made lights, as well as having an excellent CRI.

[0.115 lb] I use it for shooting high end jewelry pieces. Will probably buy a couple more add on lights for highlighting certain pieces. Used a strobe with a snoot for an accent light on one job and it balance perfectly w/ the 5000k florescent provided in the kit.

[0.115 lb] Purchased to photograph my wife's artwork - flat and 3 dimensional. Mainly to create or eliminate shadows. Not cheap, but way less expensive than heavy duty professional LED lighting kits. Adjustable light intensity and color (Kelvin Temp) was helpful in getting colors in her artwork to pop out without having to fuss with color balance on the digital camera. Remote control handy but only way to control intensity and Kelvin. LEDs can be adjusted independently or as one. Umbrella reflectors/diffusers are a little on the small side but do the job for us. Probably would not be good for large studio works. Stands are lightweight but sturdy and not top heavy even when fully extended with light fixture and umbrella. Used for one photo session so far. Will see how well they hold up.

[0.115 lb] I bought this because I have a client who gives my a certain amount of pieces to shoot at a time and I'm fairly new at jewelry, but have been to school for photography so have used tables much bigger with only professional lighting setups. This worked great for some pieces. I think another light will help and a tripod is definitely a must. But for the price and smaller product it is worth the buy for a small studio space.
