This Panamax 2-Outlet Surge Protector Coaxial In/Outprovides two protected outlets, as well as a protected RF output connector. It uses EMI/RFI filtration circuitry to provide clean, unimpeded power. The two outlets are on either side of the protector, so they won't interfere with each other, and the coax in and out connectors are at the end of the unit to keep your cables away from power cords. Two diagnostic LEDs show the power/protection status of the unit as well as if there is a line fault in your power source.

A: This APC Back-UPS is the BE550G, with a USB connection.

A: I replaced a battery in an older UPS that I own and it was very easy.

A: I agree with Luis N in that a UPS battery in these models have run us approximately 4 to 5 years. Once depleted, we typically just purchase a new one and have a local recycling vendor who obtains depleted ones from us at no charge.

[2x NEMA 5-20R] So far so good. Good low profile. Side pieces with 3 outlets per side piece swivel to face frontwards, or sideways. Helps keep the profile low with cords coming off it. Two status lights tell me I am grounded and protected. Appears to be well built - solid, good finish. USB power jacks also useful. 5

[Yes 1350 Joules] This works perfectly, really glad I bought it. Very conveniently hides my tv and stereo cables behind the dresser without having the dresser sticking out form the wall. The USB chargers help alot too! 5

[120 VAC, 60 Hz] Great fit & finish, with just the right weight to be stable sitting on a shelf with multiple cords plugged into it. The LED'S add peace of mind along with a switch. The Kevlar cord on the Austere V could be more flexible, however it might be a plus if you have pets. 5

[2x NEMA 5-20R] So far so good. Protects my Sony CD Player and my Sony Trinitron Color TV....Ordered from B&H because I trust them and so far the surge protector has not let me down. 5
