To determine if the OpenRun Pro Mini is the right pair of headphones for you, it's advised to take a quick measurement around the back of your head with a measuring tape. Start halfway down the back of your ear and measure around the back of your head to the same point on the opposite ear. If the measurement is 9.25" exactly, or less, then these OpenRun Pro Mini headphones are right for you. If the measurement is over 9.25", then select the standard OpenRun Pro model.

Thanks to Bluetooth 5.1 support and built-in dual noise-canceling microphones, the OpenRun Pro Mini headphones let you stay connected with the outside world via hands-free phone calls.

On a full charge, the OpenRun Pro Mini open-ear headphones provide up to 10 hours of power for music playback and hands-free calling. If you're in need of power without the time to fully recharge them, a quick 5-minute charge can provide you with up to 1.5 hours of battery life.

IP55 dust and water resistance lets you work up a sweat in the gym and can easily handle the elements outdoors.

Download the Shokz app to your mobile device for easy pairing when using Bluetooth 5.1 and access to managing features, such as multipoint pairing, listening customization, and EQ. You can choose from Standard and Vocal Booster EQ. The app also provides helpful user tips and is available for both Android and iOS devices.

[Yes] The open run pro mini for my head extremely well . The sound is so crips and I love how I can leave them on while I am walking around and they don’t irritate my ears. I bought two of the regular open runs for my family. I got these open run pros for me.

[Bone Conduction] I got these to use while jogging and they are quite good. The low end sound is pretty anemic but you can actually hear bass lines. Given the physical limitations of bone induction, I think that's to be expected. I wouldn't use these to sit down and listen to high fidelity music. They are great for exercise and listening to podcasts, though.

The mid- to high-range fidelity is impressive and clear. I can easily understand speech and lyrics.

They are also very comfortable. Most in-ear or over-ear headphones cause discomfort after extended wear. Either from irritation or heat retention. But the open design of these eliminate that.

The magnetic charging cable interface is nice. There is no clumsy dust cover you have to open to access the charging port which will eventually wear out and break off.

The biggest issue I have with these is that they wrap over my ears... But I wear glasses which utilize the same real estate. For the most part they seem to get along but sometimes I have to manipulate them. My glasses are very minimalistic. I'm not sure how well these would work with glasses frames that have really thick temple arms.

And these are not great for use while relaxing. The behind-the-head band sticks out a little so if you want to sit down and lean back, it will press against the chair and tend to push the phones off your head. These are primarily designed for active use. Which is primarily what I got them for so it's fine.

[Yes] Sounds are conducted to our auditory nerves (Cranial Nerve VIII, or CN VIII) through two conduits: air and bone. Air is the one familiar to most of us - sound waves in the air enter the ear canal. They make the ear drum vibrate, which makes tiny bones in the middle ear vibrate (these tiny bones are not to be confused with bone conduction, described next), which send information to CN III. The other pathway is bone conduction. A vibrating object, say a tuning fork, or the contact surfaces of these headphones, in direct contact with the skull bones, send the vibrations directly to CN VIII. Cranial Nerve VIII then sends the information to the brain's auditory processing center.

These bone conduction headphones are fantastic because they induce sound fidelity that is almost as good as ear buds. But since they are not in the ear canal, they are supremely comfortable. I am able to wear them all day, listening to podcasts, making calls, etc, with none of the annoyance and discomfort of ear buds.

Is music fidelity equal to my AirPods? Not quite. But I don't use earbuds for music anyway, so it is not a concern.

Bottom line: if you like earphones for non-music purposes, or music but are not concerned with the highest possible fidelity, then I highly recommend these for their utility and comfort.

[Bone Conduction] Beyond amazing! These are so comfortable that I forget I am wearing them and the sound is like being there. For me, an added surprise came with my OpenRun Pro. I have been deaf in one ear since I was 12 except for sounds detected through bone conduction which only happens during a hearing test until now! I hear sounds in my deaf ear that I haven’t heard in over 50 years! Sort of miraculous!

[Stereo] Perfect for when you want to listen to your own thing but still be able to engage in the world around you. I use my head set while supervising kids, to fall asleep while listening, and when driving my older car without Bluetooth connectivity. I like knowing that i can still hear everything going on around me while no one else can hear what I’m listening to, and the headset is so light weight it’s easy to forget I’m wearing it.
