A: Each of the 3 crossbars in the Savage Multiple Polevault System telescope from 5.25 to 12.6' in width. As the light stands must be the same width apart for all three crossbars as they are all attached to the same light stands, the width you choose must be the same for all three crossbars. While you may use different size backgrounds on the stand, the width of the setup will be dictated by the widest background you use. You cannot set up the stands in the different configurations you listed above, as the width of the crossbar must be the same for all three crossbars.
