The 15' Sescom 2-Channel XLR Male to Female Audio Snake Cable 15ftfrom Sescom 2-Channel XLR Male to Female Audio Snake Cable 15ftis a highly flexible cable for control room layout and interfacing between equipment racks, audio patch bays, mixers, and multitrack recorders. A: I use a variety of lav mics. I mosty use Sony but I don't have the model in front of me. You'll need phantom power if your mics requre that. You'll need two mics to record in true stero but the Zoom might allow you to record mono to both L&R tracks.

A: it works with any mono mini-jack mic to any XLR... all standard plugs.

Q: 10. Will this adapter work from the rodelink wireless to Sony FS5 XLR?

A: While I do not own the FS5, the audio inputs on your camera are XLR at mic and line level. The Rode Link outputs to 1/8 jack and will connect to your camera via this adapter perfectly using the supplied (Rode) 1/8 short cable.

[0.695 lb] I was interested in the possible sound quality difference between this 50' cable and a really short one (3 to 18). I did a test recording in stereo with the left channel using my really short one (Kopul Coiled 3-Pin XLR-M to Angled 3-Pin XLR-F Cable (3 to 18)) and the right channel using this 50' cable coiled on the floor. I kept mics and recorder exactly the same for the experiment and rotated my setup in the room halfway through in case there was one side of the room that was better than another. By ear I can detect no difference between the two sides in the recording. Both had no discernible hiss when recording a vocalist. Fantastic!! 5

[0.695 lb] I needed a proper way to convert and feed a pro level XLR audio out of a powered portable PA speaker / mixer main line out to a RCA input of my assistive listening transmitter in a Church for my hard of hearing folks that for some reason only has a RCA input jack. I never had any luck with those simple adapters or a cable with a XLR on one end and a RCA on the other! To do it right I needed to not only convert the jacks but also convert the impedance. This is a quality very well built product featuring top rated Neutrik brand RCA and XLR jacks in a nice aluminum enclosure and an impedance matching transformer that allowed me to properly convert the signal. Yes, this is more expensive than the other simple adapters but I wanted pro results and pro results is what I got. Perfect for my situation. 5

[No, Molded] This 6-pin cord was hard to find. But found it at B&H. It fits the microphone I needed it for and thats all one could ask. Its 25'. I wished there were more choices as I would have opted for a shorter length. 5

[Neutrik] Reduce output exactly 5db as per spec which is what I'm looking for. I'm using this to reduce Marantz AV8805 output to prevent Audyssey from setting the trim to -12db after room calibration. 5

[25 AWG] Just hooked it up and so far is functioning well. The shorter length is just what I needed. In fact it could have been shorter but it worked out just fine. Love the color coded wires. Great for the price too. 5
