A: I think it may be too tight. Get height and length of camera and lens and figure you need about an inch more than that on interior dimensions of the pelican. You may need to go bigger.

A: In my case I can fit a Nikon d5500 with a standard 18-55mm lens on it (which is probably about the same size as the coolpix), a 55-200mm lens, a 35mm lens, and two filters. So yes, I think there is more than enough space inside for the coolpix P900.

A: Anything less than 1500 is will be too small. I recommend nothing smaller than a 1500, which will fit the 810 with lens attached and room so spare.

I skectched out my sizes before ordering to figure out how I was going to fit in my three 1800W HMI bulbs. My instinct for yours might be that it might a little small for what you need.
